Willie none of your horses rugs fit properly , they all have rubbed hair on their shoulders. It sounds really picky but in the winter they spend long hours in a rug , and you wouldn’t wear a pair of shoes one size too small …all day would you ……..just saying …….other than that you are a genius
Has to run in gold cup
Anyone would train the horses he has in all fairness !
Gowran park is a special place to many
This will affect horses welfare ..... so for me its a NO
If trainers start this...People will simply switch off.
I could have given that interview myself.
The undisputed master.
Stop TV racing all together.simple as that..bloody greedy trainers
Money greedy
Lossie will have the good juice back in Ireland. Think the uk must have clamped down this season 🤫. Ofc they will turn a blind eye again at the festival.
If you back a horse "because something might happen to the favourite". Something might happen to your horse 🙃
Anyone want to estimate Ed Chamberlin's wages? Also note Chamberlin owns a "talent" agency. People like Paul Nicholls are in the agency. Guess who "starred" in Champions Full Gallop. ....
Matt Chapman earns over half a million a year. But you guys begrudge the same amount between 600 trainers 🤷
Kim Bailey is good at PR. Same man who would look you in the eye and say he split with David Bass to give Bass more chances.
So we all agree the racecourses are getting too much of the media money? Savill tries to do something and everyone shoots him down. What's your plan? 🤷🤷🤷
Of course Dan Skelton is supportive. Absolute rat
Now listen, the lads are very happy and were very happy with the lads, and the horse has been pleasing us in his work, and we're happy. Aiden O'Brien interview, Gotta be worth a fiver.!
I am going on Saturday
Dan 🐽Skelton
Emmas best looking bird on Racing and Donns good analyst too
That lad from Galway (Johnny) hasn’t a clue .. gobshite
The trainers are so silly, don't the know MS TV is almost over and the world watches alternative sources, plus come on, what about supporting sports journalists and content creators? With regards sponsorship, look at the value Unibet get from Henderson for all his TV appearances and stable tours before every big race meeting! They are paid by sponsors to do that! Racing needs that coverage from personalities and big trainers like Henderson to survive, they need to be asking for more price money for the owners and they get their percentage of that!
Scum
No , that is my opinion. Inlike listening to the smaller trainers, Gibney is always worth listening too in Ireland and smaller ones are great the same in the UK. Im not interested innwhat Mr Skelton has to say!
I'm 62 and stopped listening to trainers jockeys and owners years ago back your own judgement when it comes to punting
I'm a farmer and stockman and like you I use my eyes and common sense
Backed lroko on Saturday each way did me for an each way double o neil in before the Stewards at Cheltenham said lost an lro three out finished fourth talking about schooling a horse in public go back and watch the race again didnt try an lnch ffs 😮
Ultima inbound mate 🤑
£12k to win 1? If you have the 12, you don't need the 1.
No one is asking anyone to bet on it you mug what's your point
@@lean2281 no you are a mug if you bet on it lol
@@Boratshermedey very true
For me, Nick Rockett's performance would give him a chance of a place in a Gold Cup
😂😂😂😂😂
A sign of the times sadly, everything has to be "monetised". How I hate that word. Who will pay me to watch this? (joke). People who are lucky enough not to have to do a decent day's work, bloggers, "influencers" have a lot to answer for.
The survival of the sport imo needs to come from a complete revamp. The current setup has an antiquated structure. Beyond a bet the majority of the public aren't emotionally invested. Not for the horse, the trainer or the owner. The public will sometimes follow a horse or 2 every so often, but as these special horses come about so rarely, and they race so infrequently, the hold on the publics attention is tenuous. What the sport needs is to restructure the sport as a whole into a Teams system. Teams to support and follow with hearts. Something that outside of the betting markets captures the publics interest and emotions. Like found in other sports like Football. For example the teams could be based on County. Each County (team) would have the same annual budgets and the same number of horses. Each team consisting of a range of trainers and jockeys. With responsibilities and accountability to the supporters. You would literally have to tear up the current training system/set up, but if we could establish the sport to have loyal fans to their teams then the sport would be stronger , more popular and not so reliant on gambling alone. They could even start doing syndicates on a massive level. Where people could have a share in their sides horses. It would make the industry infinitely more accessible as a career with more opportunities for promotion and not restricted by wealth. Some may point to the Shergar cup and say the team element exists already.....and lets be honest is pretty lame. But that is because there is nothing behind the Shergar cup, no emotional interest, there is no build up. The Racing from a visual perspective would be unchanged, but it would mean so much more to people. I think if something like this could be established, and it is a very vague idea here, then racing could leap back into the publics attention and have a strong future.
Get rid of that idiot johny and get somebody who knows what they are talking about he's a idiot
Honestly think one of the mares will beat con hill it looks like he just isn't as good as before
I think East India Dock would be competitive in this year's Champion
@@johnoflaherty9105 LMFAO
Trainers looking for money to tell lies on TV the neck of them Holy jasus if you bet on horses from what trainers say in interviews you would go broke fairly quick.
How dare the likes of Skelton who cons the public with his “spring horse” “got ulcers” “won’t be ready to win” tripe aka conning the punter stand with his begging bowl out. Can’t stand the bloke.
If they think he is not likely to win, why run him at all and why don't the stewards look into it?
@ racecourse gallops is all they are then improves by 3 stone come “winning time”. Has the audacity to ask to be paid for pedalling lies. Unbelievable
@@Jaam0119 I’ve lost a hell of amount of respect for him, he’s a rat
Good man Johnny!
Yes, surely the trainers need the exposure from the interviews more than folk need to listen to them. Interesting that Skelton thinks the media should pay and there was reference that he might get questioned about Langer Dan, I'd say Skelton owes the media for helping everybody sweep the George Gently thing under the carpet when he could have lost his license.
All that will happen is the TV companies will simply pull the plug and then racing will lose millions..
This woman talks sense. Also gave cogent reasons to support her view.
That’s great news regarding trainer’s not giving interviews which are meaningless nowadays given we no longer have a journalist with a pair of balls. All moon in June crap, good riddance to them.
