I was lucky enough to see this play at the Old Vic in 2014.It was amazing. The whole cast was great & Richard Armitage (my favourite actor ) did a magnificent job of playing John Procter.

I love how the scenes have been fitted with the music and lyrics. Like at 0:59 when Bilbo is being surrounded by this huge space and at 2:51 when Bilbo was knocked out and couldn't be there. So good

My class was assigned this play in high school so we read it and then watched the film and I was probably too young but at the time I really hated the play and the only character I liked was John Proctor. Then when I bought and watched this on Digital Theatre (because sadly I live in the US so couldn't get to any live performances) this production made me understand the play so much more and Richard Armitage took the only character I liked from the play and made me completely love and feel for him. And Anna Madeley made me realize just how strong Elizabeth is which I never understood the first time, they were both phenomenal and their final scene had me sobbing.😀❤️🎭

I LOVE THE MOVIES BECAUSE THORIN AND BILBO FRIENDSHIP. BILBO WAS WORRIED WHEN THORIN WAS LOSING HIS MIND. BUT THORIN CAME TO HIS SENSES TO FIGHT. BILBO WENT WORRIED ABOUT MORE ORC WERE COMING . THORIN SAW FILI GETTING KILLED AND HE KILLED THE LEADER BUT THORIN GOT STABBED AND BILBO WENT TO HIS SIDE AND THORIN ASKED BILDO FORGIVES AND THORIN SAID HIS GOODBYE TO BILBO AND THORIN DIED AND BILBO CRYED OVER THE LOST OF HIS FRIEND
