This car was such junk when it came out
Maybe if they'd sold the interior as velour instead of cloth.... Cloth makes it sound cheap, but I'd rather have the velour interior than leather. Every one I've owned came with velour. It's the only way to go in these cars. Leather is so common.
Love these; darn that UltraDrive though. My Grandparents had a 1991 with the Mark Cross Package, 3.8L, automatic climate control, Infinity Sound, and the digital dash. So much comfort. So much space. We need cars comfortable like these again.

I would be shocked to see if someone had both a Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue and a Chrysler Imperial sitting in their driveway.
To me that's an indicator of impeccable taste, status, and wealth. Unmatched by those uncultured BMW, Mercedes, and Lincoln swine.
How come nobody ever heard of this?
They were all sent to the crusher after the leases ended. Car companies in the early 2000s didn't want to be liable for servicing unreliable battery packs
@@minivanmaster You're wrong. It was oil companies -- namely Chevron/Texaco -- who feared the revolution and killed the whole thing by buying patents on NiMH battery cells. The battery was very durable, as can be seen from electric Toyota RAV4 some of which are still running on the original battery (Toyota, unlike GM didn't crush the cars and allowed the people to buy them). Luckily the oil company didn't think that Li-Ion notebook batteries could do the same job. Nevertheless they succeeded in delaying adoption of BEV cars.

I posted this video on my UA-cam channel so people would get the idea to post their Neuton videos on UA-cam If anyone has the Newer DVD version of this. Let me know. Here’s the Story I had a Neuton mower DVD many years ago, it had the same background music as this video does in the beginning, but it showed a guy mowing and then the machine attacked the camera I thought it was pretty cool. So if anyone has the video please upload it This video was the older version, the one I had did in fact show a man mowing his yard, I also remember them squeezing the handles to show how easily the mower startEd, granted, mine was the 2007 version

It really was. I read a detailed article on the state of the US auto industry from 1992 and they stated that Iacocca had a fetish for the formal roofline and vinyl tops on these cars, which were somewhat outdated by the late 80s....he wanted the LH cars to look more like these which was an indicator to others in the company that his time in the auto game had passed. However these were good looking rigs.
