The most technically difficult piece in all the opus 99, very advanced use of semi-contrapuntal writing, the effect was "rachmaninovian" ante litteram .... Bravo Pianist con Fuoco, probably a bit slow, but a good effort, considering the high difficulty....thanks!

Extremely original in pianistic writing, full of harmonic surprises, and with a subtle use of rhythm, this beautiful Sonata demonstrates where are lying the roots, the origins of the late romantic techniques in Composition practiced by the Major Composers after 1850 in Germany ( Strauss, Wolf, and then also probably Mahler and various others...). Bravo Pianist con Fuoco, a very good effort in this difficult and ample Sonata! Thanks a lot.

The only Sonata ( apart the Clementi' s one, loved and performed even by Beethoven) in the beautiful tonality of F Sharp minor, before the great examples by Schumann ( op 11) and Brahms ( op 2). Schubert here conveyed a completely romantic sound and creates feelings anticipating the Greatest achievements of the major Composers of the Romantic Era... Bravissimo Pianist con Fuoco, beautiful interpretation of this (unfortunately...) incomplete Sonata.
