So I bought a reputation cd from Amazon last week and it didn't look like either of these it came with the slipcase but did not come with the poster or Ticketmaster thing and the cd colors were very light so do you think it could be fake or just redesigned? Since the album is kind of old

Fishiest thing, I got the exact poster as you and from other reviews as well. Usually the legit one is random but it's kinda strange that the China one has the same poster 🧐🧐

I just think u have a first release and a re-edition....It's so typical the low quality on a re-edition, lately and especially on TS albums this is happening. She sell a lot of CDs and the company has to release and release these editions $$$$ 😂😂😂

I bought a 1989 dlx cd in shopee recently and its so obvi fake the poloroids are random and are so thin and the cover is just blurry and the sticker is baby blue not blue

Mapapansin mo agad pag hindi authentic sa quality ng pag print hindi hq. Marami nyan sa shopee hehe pero bumibili parin ako nyan para pang gamit lang lmao para hindi malaspag yung authentic copy ko ng mga albums.

I hope you make this into a series as it is very helpful. Also, I think napag palit mo yung plastic seals/covers nila sa huli. Mas crumpled yung kay A and kay B is mas smooth.

Jokes on you, i intentionally bought the fake one since it was only 200php. Cuz it was on sale😆 And i aint complaining abt it

CD B is a fake as the paper quality is not as good as the original and the CD looks like it is a CD-R.

First of all you need to compare Matrix / Runout, Mould SID Code and then all the images. P.s. I bought myself a Japanese version of POCS-24013

How much is the original?

Original CD has UNIVERSAL MUSIC logo under the cd itself. FAKE CD do not have the logo.

I have a hunch that I know the shop where you bought the fake one. I also bought Camila and Romance albums from them last December. The quality of the albums is good, but I later noticed that there was a typographical error on Camila album's insert. I was a bit disappointed when I noticed that because of course, I want mine to be original. Anyway, both CD's are playing well. PS. Actually, I was planning to buy Reputation album from them, so I watched an unboxing video first; glad that I found this.

First thing i noticed is that the china bootleg version has crappy quality font, and different jewel case (look at where the cd lay, that case is so familiar, i saw that in every cheap cd)

May i see the difference of both version in the matrix runout (near to the hole of the cd)? Sometimes when i cant afford a sealed copy, i would buy a secondhand one, which the jewel case is often different than the original one (might be replaced, bcs of damage or something.) So the only reliable source to tell if the cd is fake is by seeing the runout (is the ifpi match with the original, is there any universal/sony/warner logo in there, etc)
