Literally just came across your video and am loving it ! You’ve got a new subscriber🙋🏻♀️bc I absolutely love your garden commentary and your personality🤗❤About to binge watch some more of your videos😉I need all the help and ideas I can get as a new gardener☺️Have a blessed day !!
@@mylilchichi aww thank you sooo much. I appreciate that. I'm a first year gardener and it's been a journey but I'm loving it. Thanks for subscribing and I wish you well on your gardening adventures. Welcome to the gardening family.💕

Hey Tasha. How are you doing? You are getting things done. FYI you’re gonna want to move those comfrey to at least a 10 gallon grow bag/ pot because the greenstalk will not be able to handle the growth especially in the smaller pockets and comfrey likes to travel if it not contained. The grow bag might be better because it provides air pruning for the roots. I’m sure you backyard is going to look amazing when you’re done. Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤😊
@@GodsDesire4me thank you telling me that. I’ll go ahead and get them out of there today. I appreciate your advice on that because I had no idea. I would have been in a whole mess. Thanks a bunch and happy gardening to you too.💕
Wow! You do still have a lot of surprises in your garden! The joys of gardening!! Grow on!!
Hello Tasha!! I've saying to my sister we need to find us a good local butcher to get out meats. Here in NW AL, it's not any to brag about. I'm going to keep looking. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing my friend.
@@growingmyown indeed my beautiful gardening friend.💕
I started a vegetable garden this summer. All of my beans, squash, zucchini, tomatoes THRIVED until the temps averaged 90° for almost 6 weeks! We have to worry about chemtrails now too! Something wonderful about the taste of your own vegetables when you grow them yourself! Next year I’m going to purchase some sun, shades and tarps to protect my own food!
@@joellenjones3410 that is so wonderful my vegetables thrive this summer as well until the temperatures got extremely hot. I did have problems with my squash and zucchini with the squash vine bore. But overall everything turned out pretty good. I too am gonna invest in shade cloths because the extreme summer heat takes a toll on the veggies. hanging in there with growing your food and happy gardening. Thanks for watching the video.
Raw is best. Pasteurization kills all the good bacteria.
Hey Tasha, thanks for sharing this information. I’m in NC . I have seen others that purchase a whole or half of a cow and that is way too much for me. I will definitely be looking for someone in my area that provides this kind of service. Have a wonderful blessed day ❤😊
@@GodsDesire4me your welcome. I experienced that as well. I didn't need a whole or half a cow for me and my son. That is a lot of meat, but also a great option for people who have larger families. I really like this farm because you can buy as much or as little as you need to fit the size of your family. I hope you’re able to find a farm that works for you in your area. If I come across one, I’ll definitely share it with you.
What’s in the 5 gal buckets?
New subscriber. Just found your channel. Have a Blessed day!
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Hi Tasha, new subscriber. I use filters on my hose and irrigation system. Your garden looks beautiful. I have that greenhouse and I use it for overwintering plants and seed starting in the spring. Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤😊
@@GodsDesire4me thanks for watching. Welcome to the channel. I’m hoping that the water filtration will make my plants a little happier. They put so much in her city water and I think it can be a little overwhelming for the plants especially the baby seedlings. Thanks for sharing that with me. Happy gardening.
@ you’re welcome. Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I haven’t done videos lately due to dealing with a paralyzed vocal cord but maybe I will in the future 😉
Your greens look so good! Where did you purchase your kumquat tree? I want one so bad!
@@JPrincess thanks for watching the video. I purchased my kumquat tree from Lowe’s in the early spring. But start checking in the big box stores now because I have been able to find lots of great deals of trees on sale now during the off-season.
@ Thanks for info! I’ll check mine out. 🤍🙏🏽🌱
Tasha, Thank you for sharing, I am a first time gardener and seeing your progress is inspiring. <3
@@LifeUnfilltered thank you so much for visiting my channel. Stay encouraged with your gardening. I wish you much success in your growing. I do know that gardening can be overwhelming, sometimes especially when it starts to grow and thrive because you have to keep up with your chores. But the wonderful thing is you get to go out in your yard and pick fresh food,. Happy gardening and thanks for watching..
Hello! Nice new plants and nice chat!! Everything is looking really good! You got a lot of food growing!! Keep up the good job! Thank you for sharing!! 😊😊
@@gardeningwithlisa thank you so much!!! I just love your channel. I've learned so much watching you. Thanks so much for checking out my channel. I really appreciate it. I am working out my green thumb. I’m super proud of how my first year of gardening is going. I’ve had some fails and I’ve had a lot of successes, but overall, I’m grateful for every experience. It’s so important that we grow our own food. happy gardening, Ms. Lisa.
@@tashastouch815 We all have some fails and disappointments! It's how we learn, and the main thing is you're going to keep growing! If you make it through 1 year, then you can keep going! Wasn't summer gardening brutal? But didn't your tomatoes and cukes all taste better than the ones from the store? That's why we keep growing!! I really feel like they are killing us slowly with that stuff they selling us at the store! Somethings we have to buy so we just have to pray over it and keep it moving!! Thanks for the support and I'll be back!! Stay blessed Mz Tasha!!
@@gardeningwithlisa you are absolutely correct. When I harvested my first tomato and made me a tomato sandwich, it took me back to when I was a little a girl eating tomatoes out my grandmother‘s garden. It gave me so much encouragement to keep going because summer was brutal. Thank you so much for your encouragement Ms. Lisa. Gardening is not easy, but it is so worth the taste and knowing where the food is coming from. It’s also convenient to just walk out into your backyard and pluck what you want to eat from the vine prepare it and cook it up and enjoy the taste. I appreciate all your loving support and advice on gardening. Happy growing my friend.💕

Well the garden tour did inspired me. I went to Lowe’s and purchased the $7 grape and olive plants, and the $10 blueberry plant. They also have pots and planter on sale at 50% off , so I got 6 of them. Thanks again for sharing.
@@70plusgardener that is so wonderful. It’s good to shop the stores during the off-season because they’re so many great deals you can find for your garden. I’m so happy you were able to purchase those things at a very good price. So happy I could help. Let me know how your planting and growing goes. Thanks for watching.💕
From one Tashia to another Tasha, Hey girl Heyyy. New subbie here I'm from North Carolina but transplanted to the Midwest to help family. I completely agree with you when it comes to out food that is supplied to us in the grocery stores. I have growing things for my family in my mom in laws backyard as I stay with her. This summer I was growing tomatoes, peppers squash and zucchini along with watermelon. For fall I'm growing mustard greens, spinach, broccoli, cabbage and rainbow swiss chard. Love you garden its looks great.

Loving your videos!
I just found your channel UA-cam push tonight it's 1:31 can tell us where you found those big pots from and what in the blue 3 gallon Lowe's buckets
@@karensanders9777 thanks for watching the video. I got my big buckets from Walmart in the early spring of this year. Believe it or not I paid $10 for each of them. Soon after I purchased them, they went up on the price. My Lowes buckets with the lids I store all of my garden nutrients in there. So I have bone meal, blood meal, all purpose fertilizer, perlite, vermiculite, and diatomaceous earth. Those buckets are very useful for storing all of your garden nutrients for your soil. It keeps them airtight and ready when you need them. I hope you enjoy the channel. Please share it out to others who enjoy gardening.
I enjoyed your talk
@@70plusgardener thanks for watching. Awareness is key.💕
What a beautiful garden! I tried growing okra this year but it didn't do well at all. Im up north and had no idea what okra even was till I saw southern gardeners growing it and I'm dying to try it. Going to try again next season. If you have any tips i would really appreciate it.
@@barbaraczujak7052 maybe it didn’t do too well because okra loves the heat. It is a southern staple and it grows very well in hot climates. Believe it or not it’s actually a weed. It doesn’t require much fertilization. I fertilized mine once a month and it grew like crazy down here in South Carolina. Since you’re up north plant out right after your last frost. I know you guys have a shorter growing season up north so make sure to plant it out as soon as you can right after your last frost past to give it time to get established and start growing during the hotter moths. I wish you well. It is a delicious vegetable. It is on the slimy side so when you cook it if you add a pinch of baking soda, it will cut down on the sliminess of it. If you love pickled items, it is excellent pickled. It’s almost like having a delicious pickle. And it cuts the sliminess that the vegetable is prone too. I hope that information was helpful for you. Thanks for watching and happy gardening. keep me posted on how it works out for you.
