For someone whose job was sitting down, Rick’s a real stand up fella. 😅👉🏼🥁🥁🤷🏻♂️
Great drummer and seems a good guy , funny he mentions Weller saying learn these Chuck Berry songs and Paul who absolutely despises rock music 😊 I recall an interview of him trashing rnr Elvis and that whole Jimmy Dean thing as a crock of shit ! Jam did make some good pop sounds mind !
I was at yeldall in 1998 I remember noel Campbell excellent place gave me a different direction in life.a religious one
So sweet to see Jude Byrne here
Anita, so lovely😊
m.ua-cam.com/video/GIyjvEUINx8/v-deo.html Wally Hope is dancing at 5:10
I'm sitting in work , just having my lunch break and how true the words spoken in this video are . I was in the program with Dan and Glen, and know Marcus and Steve and big hes and Tom ward all very well . Yeldall Manor was a turning point in my life .
I was a resident at yeldall when this was made , disappointed i never seen myself in the film ,lol . I owe the yeldall programme and staff and fellow residents a debt of gratitude . Lots of love and best wishes ❤
everyone needs to see this - how are you going to get it out there?
It looks great just impossible to actually see if you don't have an address or credit card. Er at some point is this going on here or pirate bay?
Much more better attitude than Paul, they always took no notice of rick and Bruce, lovely guy.
I just came to groove.

A generation that has eat everything ... eat everything !!! The worst the earth has ever worn Bigger is the FRONT that we show even bigger is the BACK that we hide

I was here in 2006 I rember all you in video glen was in the house up road Hess as well as a councillor & DJ lol think Darren was councillor. My councillor was a woman can't think of her name I wasn't ready at that time and ended up being removed I wonder how life would of been if I had not been imature. A fantastic opportunity i absolutely loved it the whole environment. The peace the trust but as I was young and stupid I didn't realise till it was to late. I now no I am ready
Nina , she was my Councillor too lol 👍
How can I see this film ?
Spot on-look@USA&chmp! as The Scream sang-I BELIEVE U GET WHAT U GIVE! $ fckrs never ever ever have enuff & if killing the poor is profitable well its time to kill
If you lived or wanna pose this book is ESSENTIAL!!! 5outa5 BRAV-THE FCK-O mate!!!
Loved the book. Memories of mods at school, growing up in the Kingston area and getting into Juve at the same time.
for all the effort mate i thank you for all the people who should have liked and commented,,, as an addict in recovery its videos like this that helps to save lives and thanks for the information as i never knew how bad it was and thank people like yourself for making this an national issue and raise awareness in the UK,,,, top bloke,,,
seen this before Paolo. tis great. hope to see you at the DDN conference......
Just finished reading the book, enjoyed it very much.
This is wonderful! I grew up in Walton, but never really learned much about its history.
I never get tired of Paul Weller.
I wonder what has become of the TV interview which Julian Maclaren-Ross did? Even photographs of this celebrated vacuum cleaner salesman are hard to find.
Seen the jam 5 times live in Glasgow and Loch Lomond and was very fortunate to meet them back stage at the Glasgow Apollo when I was just 17
Like this
fuck me- i got that exact Lowry picture on my wall downstairs that it shows after the interview with Paul Gallagher!
The song "Do it" is actually the opposite of Wally Hope's naive attitude: "I believe our time will come" he says, while the pigs and the doctors walked all over him..
Wally was certainly naive about the dark forces circling around him. I do think Do It is perfect for the trailer, after choosing that track for the I later read some of Wally's writings where he said Do It by Fairies should be the new national anthem.
great guy, has rick a fan club?
Diamond bloke.
All of us here, for sure! 😄👉🏼🥁
will they reform?
No.
Never
Love the pure passion presented here. Was only going to watch a couple of minutes but ended up looking at the whole thing. But I've got to get up in the morning arrghhh!!!!
great documentary
If you like The Jam, check out TED DUCHAMP - TIME BOMBS, think you'll enjoy it, cheers!
Well done!
BLESDINGSDEARBARBARA;WHATAJOYOUSBREATHOFFRESHSTALEAIR!;
Looks great Paolo!
strange that he wouldn't talk about the mysterious circumstances surrounding Wally's death because it would spoil the plot of his film.. I guess that's the nature of the medium.. everything subjugated to your agenda..
eeeeeeeh? Sounds like a conspiracy to me:)
Good to find out I'm not the only 50 year old who still wears shirts with button down collars.
Whats the chance of getting it up online.
Good book, got my copy. Albeit on me Kindle. 😋
I went to 3 or 4 nights at The Red Cow. Always got quite frantic
"Snowball" would not be a great last name to have here in the States.
Interesting film , my grandparents lived and got married in this area. Carburton St ,he was an actor. Id be interested in any knowledge of actors in this area around 1890's onwards. R
Wow, am I that old now too??? I bought 'In the City' 45 in suburban Detroit in 1978 and I was hooked. Never got to see them, but The Jam had a tiny cult following in Detroit. A city with a great cool meter than Omaha or Manhattan.
This is fantastic! I bought the first LP the day it came out in the states, and I continued buying all of them the second they came out. I loved them all, but the first one that utterly connected with my soul was Setting Sons. It was so British, but still completely meaningful and touching for a teenager growing up in a small town in the U.S. Weller had absolutely captured his muse and was channeling it perfectly. The melodies, the lyrics, the song structures. I think it's a perfect album. All Mod Cons was probably the one that convinced me that he was a great songwriter. The first two had great songs on them, but this one was pointedly aimed in a certain direction and it worked. Watching this documentary is taking me back to my teenage years and reminding me how much their talents, their look, and their songs meant to me at the time. Thanks!
Great work Guys looks so interesting wish I could be there!! :(
