I had it 116. To 112. The commentary team was incredibly biased towards benevidas so much so that they were embarrassing. Good fight but I thought benevidas was feeling the heavier shots and chose not to mix it up at times and I thought his punches weren’t having the effect he was expecting but fair play he did a good job but I’m not sure if he’ll have the same impact at this level. Aussie boxers like my man Jai Opetiaia, Tim Tszyu and Liam Paro willl fight anyone. I had a small win on Paro, I thought he had a good chance, I have been watching him for years. Opetiaia I have seen sparring at my gym 5 to 6 years ago, my now 80 year old trainer told me Jai would be a world champion.

I was impressed because I wasn’t expecting Benavidez to straight outbox him, especially with injuries . I initially thought Gvozdyk would sweep the first few rounds and David would stop him later but David showed how good his defense and IQ are. Also proved he can take a punch from a bigger hitter but now some people are saying Gvozdyk “pulled his punches” 😂

It was not an upset at all. Paro is damn good but underrated. Meanwhile Mattias if anything is overrated. This is what happens when certain fighters are pushed by promoters more than others. I said a while back Paro can go all the way. Interesting that Hearn never had a rematch clause for his man - at least that's what I heard. Good in a way (as we dislike rematch clauses) but it shows a level of disrespect for Paro eh

I watched this fight instead of Benavidez or Davis. It was a fast paced punches in bunches fight. I was surprised it went to the cards and the ref was a pain a complete pain. That was the same ref in the Usyk/Dubois fight lol

Spot on Joe. And I can confirm this. Alcohol is the worst drug of them all. If I told you that alcohol has killed more people than every war that has ever been fought, you probably wouldn't believe me, but it happens to be a fact. When I left the army, I couldn't handle civilian life. I just found it hard to adapt. Before I knew it, I was a full blown alcoholic drinking 18 litres of White Lightening every day. I ruptured my oesophagus and almost died. The pain was unbelievable. I can't even describe it because it was so bad. At one point, I was going to go up to the roof of the builing and jump off. I'm not joking either. I made it to the hospital and was told I had about ten minutes to live. I had acute pancreatitis 5 times too. That is also so painful. My point is, this shit creeps up on you and before you know it, you have a big problem. So keep it in mind if you more than enjoy a drink like I did. I'm ten years sober now though and married to a beautiful Greek lady. So drink wisely guys and girls.

Chamberlain is too small for cruiser and lacks power but is always in hard fights I hope he doesn't go on too long.

Elevated Benavidez in my mind this one. Sharper and more fluid than before until he slowed a little down. Granted Gvozdyk is slowing down and was maybe pushing some of his punches, it's still impressive.
