I have a KODAK Slide N Scan. It takes me 20 minutes to digitize 20 color slides. This includes the time it takes to remove the sides from their glassine sleeves, the time to blow off the dust from BOTH sides of the film, the time to center the slide in the device and capture it (after deciding on the best exposure) and the time to put all the slides back into their glassine sleeves. There is NO WAY I can scan 10 slides per minute!

no, not all photographs like this. it depends on your local area. do not dunk your photograph in water if you don't have an extra copy of the said photograph and not sure if it's fully waterproof (waterproof on cut edges as well). you don't want to ruin an important photograph, be careful everyone. also thanks for this video ❤

Great video! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am 29 and have been going through our family photos. Not only have I been organizing mine and my parents photos, but also the ones that my grandparents had, which includes photos dating all the way back to the late 1800's. I have everything at the moment roughly organized by family and date and have scanned the majority of the photos. I have also given away duplicates to family and also got rid of the bad blurry pictures from the 80's and 90's (the one's that didn't turn out good). I also made a Scrapbook for my Mom and I am also working on one for me. I hope to eventually do one for my Dad and at least a couple of family albums. I will be sure to use photo corners for the older photos. Since I am the young family genealogist (LOL), I hope to eventually do a family history photo book, where multiple copies can be given to other family members. I will definitely keep watching this channel since I have made more contact with extended relatives who are sending me more photos.

Use a damn scanner! With a phone it will be a shitty copy. There are many solution with a scanner and work arounds to do it with one. The quality of the phone will always be worse than any scanner.

I am a new fan/follower and am so glad to have found you! I enjoyed this video and definitely want to buy a photo scanner at some point. I am also looking for one that may do 12x12 size so I can scan old photo album pages. I have a burning question...how did you create the photo wall behind your desk? are those all individual photos mounted to the wall, or did you make posters, wallpaper, or what? I love it!
