How to review your vision board- 1st quarter!
Loved this!! Made my mum watch it and we both miss Lucknow now haha
haha might be time for a revisit!
Love this!!!! ❤❤
Was such a pleasure being on! Thankyou :)
I'm sure it won't be the last time!
Love both of you guys 🔥 always so fun to listen to your thoughts!
keep listening, we do a little 8 month later update in the episode after yours!
Thank you so much for having me here and for having this great discussion, Afsar. It was a really eye-opening journey filled with much insight. I apologize to you and the viewers for the bad quality of sound and video, I am making the best of the resources that I have, and I am incredibly grateful to Afsar for giving me the opportunity to speak here any way. I think it's a great practice of humility on his part. I promise to work on improving my computer hardware to make it better suited for the needs and expectations of ourselves and those who are watching, if I ever have the honour of appearing here again.
You are so kind- thank you for your encouraging words and for making the best of the resources you have-it's a value I highly subscribe to as well- the conversation was great - very eye opening! <3
This was very interesting and beneficial discussion, thank you and well done ♥
This is desperately needed in our South Asian community. Look forward to seeing what BTN brings!
for sure- lot's decolonising systems!
Love this episode so much! So nice hearing you guys go between banterful convo and then deep insightful discussion about teamwork etc.
haha **balance**
I guess the phone bugging was supposed to happen to soak in all the environment 😉
love that reframing! Positive Psychology in action right there <3
Loved watching your journey & reflections!! 😍 That couldn’t be more accurate and well put - we are so deeply colonised and that’s why we go to these places celebrating what the British empire did for India rather than celebrating our own history.
and that's on PERIODT!
Wonderful birthday plan!! It truly was a surprise(for the attendees) 🎉
LOL yes...it was. *Asrar* very much enjoyed also :)
Big up Pooks
PooOoOoOoOKIEEEE
Thank you so much for having me was so fun !
everyone's commenting about how much they love our vibe so I think we may have to have you back sooner than you think!
Not the Love episode slander 😡 both y'all need Tania & Alivia therapy to accept your SELF LOVE. In other news - love the banter in this episode 🎉 definitely agree in workplaces it needs to be nuanced but it can definitely help with delivering the work you are doing. I do it all the time in my current medical education job and maybe its because my "students" are other fellow doctors my own age but it helps to connect with them. Even when I used to be taught as a medical student i would find it much more engaging when my teachers would be more informal with me (sometimes they'd throw in swears and things LOL) but i appreciate it's different to the formalised teaching in schools
loooll not the slanderrrrrr
Loved saisha's energy and fully resonated with her speaking about our treatment as women. Great episode 👏🏽
did you comment on the wrong video LOL
@@mutedhealing oops yeah autoplay moved onto the wrong vid 🤣
Loved this! 🔥 I thought the bra scene missed the mark slightly tbh. I don't think it was gross, but I think the point of "seeing women as equals" and not being grossed out by "womanly things" could have been better conveyed in a different way. I also echo what some of your peers said about Rocky's monologue being a little bit "all about me" when it happened right after Rani's dad had poured his heart out, but i don't think he's narcissistic for doing so - that frustration needed to be let out in some way or another so makes sense in a movie way for it to done there and then. Overall i share ur enthusiasm for the movie cos i also watched it a bunch of times and have made many friends watch it with me since it's been available on streaming services 😂😂
To expand a bit, i think if Rocky had been asked to come shopping for feminine hygiene products that would have resonated a lot more with women - how often have girls had to ask a male partner to buy them pads/tampons only for them to get uncomfortable at the thought? Id love to see bollywood deal with that lol
YESSSS OKAY i totally hear this- IF the bra scene was replaced with feminine hygiene products I think it definitely would have been much better placed and actually, i think bollywood is so ready for it after Padman at least?! And it probably would have had more of an actual impact on our audiences...i can imagine females asking males to pop out to the shop and buy them pads/tampons but I feel like bra shopping is a thing women enjoy doing for themselves anyway?!
@@mutedhealing yeah absolutely! Lets manifest that for the next boundary smashing bollywood movie!
So much fun recording this one 👏🏽
thank you for being there and editing!
I love the detail you put into this. So artistic and creative!
Thank you so much!
Herbal tea to verbal tea. Love it 🤣
lol can't claim it as my own sadly!
Enjoyed listening to you Afsar. I would have a picture of the moment my son entered the world.
what a beautiful moment to commemorate! <3
Love love love this video!! Your vlog/commentary segments are so nice on the camera!!! I learnt so much from this video and Aarti's experiences make me want to go immediately 😭 and amazing editing 👏🏽 love this format of travel vlogs
Thank you! You should check out more of Aarti's videos for different experiences! She's just come back from Sri Lanka too!
This video is like a love letter to Mumbai! Felt good to relive some of the memories, almost feel like going back but it's gonna be super hot this time of year. The random videos you were recording at the hostel finally make sense😅 Come back for a longer visit!!
ufff you're a poet! A Love Letter to Mumbai- what a beautiful sentiment! will always have fond memories of our 'chai-sutta' moments
Glad to see you and Rohini ❤
one of the best days I had!
👏🏽👏🏽 love it - and messy is totally fine and authentic to yourself 😂
My moment: id love to photograph a moment in the future when a Palestinian person is able to return to their home. 🇵🇸
this made me feel bittersweet emotions. This hope is....crucial!
finally got round to doing this and my top one is LOVE like the absolute soppy romantic i am... This was interesting, thanks for introducing me to the concept of this!
Can't wait for the Mumbai episode!
it's out now! :)
Gujju Gang rise up!😁
Your workspace aesthetic is so cute!
Thanks! Makes a huge difference to actually wanting to be at it!
Out of curiosity I did the character strengths survey again and found that 4 of my 5 top strengths are still exactly the same as this time last year - definitely didn’t anticipate that
I find that mine changes a little but not too much, My virtues of courage are still quite lower down! (Go figure?!)
Love your “messy but you” approach
haha thank you! It's the one common piece of feedback I'm getting so I guess authenticity really is the way to go?!
This is so interesting! Thank you for sharing your journey. I have always wanted to visit India, now I know who to walk for advice when I get to book it 💜
Absolutely be happy to help! I learned so much about how not to vlog during this uploading stage haha, but lots of memories and tips in my photos and journal!
I love how real you keep it in your vlogs!
Thanks B! I was poorly in BOTH the b-roll AND the a-roll for this one haha- start perking up from here!
I am being called to become more📈
super excited to see this growth!
Personally i like writing my goals down, because I like to reflect on them the following year. Although my intentiom is to manifest in rhe beginning, the process of reviewing how far you've come, what you have achieved, what you havent (yet) and how you can adapt for the coming year does so much for me aswell.
love that! all of this is so important, from the writing down, to reflecting and reviewing! May all your dreams come true this year! <3
Thankyou so much for sharing this, love this video ❤️ I love the second step which is it isn’t just about writing and manifesting but also discussing our goals and so if I’m bold and talking about my goals in the future sense then - I am fluent in Spanish and have meaningful conversations in Spanish and have great relationships that I can learn more about the culture.
Love everything about this comment!!! May you flourish in Spanish! Toda la mejor! 🫶🏽
TiL that Pay as you go Simcards don't work in Srinagar 😂
haha better you know NOW than when you arrive there!
Salut. yo! pro shhots- catch ya later~ Muted,
Thanks for the love yo ❤
And i thought the cold in London was bad 😂
honestly it felt like no other! but I think it might be because of the open waters?
😍😍
:)
Loved this!
Thank you! Pray for my watermelons please :(
Love it!
thank you bb!
Love it - inspiring me to create my own :D
perhaps this is the year!
