@@Pakman0812 I would say as advertised is good. Speed 2 for up to 50 miles. On speed or gear 3 with my weight I have gotten maybe 20 miles max throttle for most of the trip riding 30-40+ mph and lots of stop and goes.

@@Prof.Polymath Sounds good. I would say there shouldn’t be any issues of water getting in, it’s sealed pretty solid.

One thing I was looking for, since I'm 6 ft 2, is an adjustable handlebar height. The scooter has it, but boy does it look flimsy, and you pointed that out for us. All the problems you had for a 2000 scooter... it's just not acceptable. How can they send you back a supposedly new screen, that came scratched up as you said in your previous videos, is beyond me. And now you're telling us that the odometer doesn't even work. Incredible. I'm just totally blown away that they would send you back a supposedly new screen, and the odometer doesn't even work on it. That's a major issue when you do decide to sell the scooter. I'm sure you factored that in. After doing a lot of research on e-scooters, I now realize that the way to go is DUAL STEM stem SCOOTERS (Teewing, Inmotion, Kaabo {to thuggy looking for me and the reviews with the ghetto music.. Ughhh ). . .dual stem is definitely much more stable, and they don't need a steering damper. This solar P1 Pro SHOULD have had a steering damper already installed and included. Like the solar FF light that they have on their website, that's on pre-order, it has a steering damper included for a reason. But like you said, I guess it's just from the geometry, that they couldn't put it. Super disappointed at solar in how they treated you overall. Don't mess with your customer's Solar! @@firstinlastout agreed. I’m 6’1”. I have been as low as 239lbs and as much as 290. Currently going back down but they was a main driver for me was the dual 2k watt motors ect. From day 1 this scooter has had plenty of power that’s never been an issue. But they have advertised boost, launch control, ect and mine doesn’t do any of those features. I know there is a way to edit throttle input so it’s not so snappy at first twist but then it messes with the parameters and Solar said do not change those outside of their settings.

I had it out last night riding around and I was going to video but didn’t. The steering shaft is flawed for sure. I will make an updated video probably tonight just to showcase. 1 issue being the stem still rotates within the shaft so the bars are crooked. 2 I dont necessarily get speed wobble as much as I lowered the bars from the top setting to the middle setting and try to stand all the weight on the back end. 3 I fixed my green led lights on the platform, when I got the scooter back from solar they were broken, connector pushed the wires out so had to straight wire. 4 the miles on the display is not correct. It keeps resetting to a lessor number. I rode 10 miles last night but my odometer went from 112 to now 111 when I turn it on. The scooter definitely needs improvements in the steering section either with a dampener or a fork design. Also my steering shaft has play north and south so when stropping with the front brakes can be sketchy more than normal.

@@EcklesWorld I’ve just loaded a short showing my UK setup. It doesn’t look right to me. Do you know the size of your 2 main frame bolts? I’m guessing mine could have been tapped with an imperial 1/4” thread, and then they’ve used M6 metric bolts in the UK to fit the light, clearly then stripping the threads out. Who knows but it isn’t right and I need a new shaft if I’m going to be happy with this one.

@@firstinlastout it has its moments of a good scooter but I have had a few issues. At 6’1” 275 it rolls me around 45-47mph. Definitely has enough power to roll.

@@EcklesWorld thanks. If you had to do it all over again, would you have gone with solar? I'm looking at the Roadrunner RS5 as well AND I'm looking a the solar EQ... I can't justify paying 600 dollars more for basically the same scooter.. Just a little slower.

@@firstinlastout I tried to get them to give me their top of the line scooter versus all the back and forth. Thankfully they answer emails and have been helpful to an extent. Would I do it again, probably not and just stick to my dirt bikes.

@@firstinlastout I’m not sure on other brands. I know some have mentioned in comments. It is harder for us bigger guys to get the same performance. All in all the scooter is working but not up to quality standards. I followed a well known channel and his suggestion regarding the scooter and many others and it seems mine and others scooters were not the same quality or item. However to say the scooter will run 46-47mph with me and last about 25-30 miles full throttle gear 3. I would see about a similar scooter with a better steering design and definitely look for a dampener as speed wobble is no joke. Speed wise in my opinion it’s fast enough.

@@stilljustaguy they covered shipping. Initially they expected that I had the original box so when FedEx came to pick up I’m expecting them to drop a box so I can send back but didn’t. Sent solar and email and they sent a box and rescheduled the pickup. They also sent it back at their cost.

@@stilljustaguy ya just depends on riding style, hills, size, and speed. I’m sure if I do setting 1 or speed 1 I could get 45-55 miles riding on a charge. On setting 3 or gear 3 the power is night and day and with my size and roads here probably 15-20 max. When it cools down and if I have time I’ll try to get more videos up.

@@stilljustaguy I haven’t done a video in a bit on it but the quality is sub par. The steering shaft moves, front springs are stiff and cheap, mileage doesn’t add correctly, platform lights are broke. It still runs, I think odometer reads 112 miles now but should be close to 250.

@@stilljustaguy I did finally get a new screen after 3 attempts. However when I sent the scooter in for repairs they kept the key card and remote. I just haven’t pressed the issue since.

@@firstinlastout I don’t have any experience for the Apollo. Just speaking about the price I paid for this scooter and the quality. Knowing more now and after riding I would say definitely look for a good handle bar and shaft setup with a dampener if going to ride at high speeds. Speed wobble is no joke.

No this has 2 2000 watt motors.

They are removed, when I sent the scooter to solar to repair they never sent back the key fobs or cards.

I have not had where the display goes black, blank, dark ect.

Did you buy one from them or buy one aftermarket? Also how hard was it to put on a thumb throttle? Thanks 👍

Shouldn’t you have 11” inch wheels in the USA. So should set to 11 not 12? The uk are 10” so ours are set to 10. 👍🏼

My speed wobble is fixed now that I lowered the bars. I had them on the highest setting and loose. With my weight best I have gotten is 45mph. 270lbs rider.

same as me i know how too handle a scooter ii get no speed wobble am now looking a 72v scooter when in stock , i bought a speed damper i dont even se never even used it have used many scooter from fast too slow none give me speed wobble must be a European made uop thing

Ya so far I have been good now. Odometer is reading 95 miles but scooter as a whole has 120-130 miles. My bars always seem to twist in the stem. I find that odd and I have the clamp as tight as I can make it. I’ll drop a new video here soon with some updates.

The throttle is the only weak point on this scooter I found. Very quick, cheap and easy to replace

Throttle has been changed and so far so good. Not as responsive as the original throttle but all in all working at least.

Yes so far that would be at full speed. I’m tied up at the moment to make a true distance video. As before if I get free I’ll make one.

Yes I know that feeling with the throttle. I had that more with the previous throttle or when I hit a bump it would not do dual unless I unplugged the throttle and back in. Always a good time with my girls, gods gift.

I wear gloves and helmet. Around the house just my gloves but not doing crazy speeds or roads. However I know the risk that even at a roll can break bones.

💯 at this point I’m stuck unless I wanted to seek legal. So far the scooter is back up and going. To your point they aren’t cheap and this should be addressed by them and their quality team. I hope the reviews I watched weren’t paid because if so that sucks. Mine has just been honest.

So far seems to be ok. This throttle seems to be less sensitive than the other but we shall see. I have only put about 7-8 miles around the neighborhood on it.

Ya crazy for sure. I really question their quality department. My display has the single holder but they sent the two straps as well but I can’t get them to close and tighten over the bars. I still need to do a battery test. I’ll get some more videos up soon about the scooter.

So far things seem to be ok. The new throttle is working. Scooter doesn’t seem as responsive or radical as before but up to 90 miles I believe. The screen display kept resetting to 71 miles but now seems to be going. I do see if I ride it a mile or two it resets to the mile before I rode.

It’s been an experience none the less.

best company ever the scooter is brilliant dont take one persons experience as all bad . ive done 100 miles off roading in mud and wet weather it works perfect still

@@mindedchaos wish my purchase was the same. Many others that comment are in the same place as myself. So while you have had a good experience many of us others have not. I for sure would not agree with the best company ever, if it was the quality would be there for us ALL.

I have noticed since it returned from them the back brake is soft almost like I have to pump it. Assuming when the rear brake was making noise from the damages fedex did they adjusted it and probably didn’t bleed it properly. All in all I’ll keep yall updated on how it goes. The scooter is close to 100 miles now given every new display resets the mileage.

So far I’m back up and going now. I would take the delay. If you paid for a product get what you ordered just how I feel when I ordered my scooter I wanted it to perform as advertised on their social media platforms but I haven’t had luck. The tool could be the tool set they send when they ship the scooter. I received hex tools and a wrench. They won’t provide any data unless it’s ready. Normally with my parts once we confirmed in email what I was getting the next day or same day I would get confirmation. It sounds like they don’t have the scooter ready and wanted to ship you what they have. I know there has been a delay with displays, tires, ect. To be honest you still have time to cancel and go with another option if you like. I have been delayed with making another video due to work, school, family time and weather in Dallas. Soon I’ll make another video giving a through update on a 60-90 day review.

@@EcklesWorld I could be riding and it just cuts completely and have to turn it back on. I’ve also noticed the battery setting keeps going to 36 which is should be 52. I spoke with Solar and they will send out a new display and hopefully it sort it out. I will check your other videos. Thanks for the reply.

@@bigzybinc ya mines been a pain since the day it arrived. I haven’t had it just cutoff but I did have where in dual motors it was just doing one. Tried multiple controllers, multiple displays. Eventually sent the scooter back to solar they found no issues ironically sent it back and it was broke. I have since replaced the throttle it seems to be ok but I have noticed my mileage is resetting lol. My platform lights no longer work and just waiting to see what else can go wrong.

I want to enjoy the scooter but just have had zero luck since the day it arrived. Today the 2 new throttles should arrive and I’ll give it a shot.

Mine I checked that and it’s all normal. I have a RAD electric bike that uses the same twist throttle and no issues. Just waiting on the 2 new ones there sending and I’ll give them a try.
