Try some lighter gauge acoustic strings or I've even put electric strings on my acoustic, so bending notes is easier
You need to work on your timing, try playing with a metronome, drum machine or the actual song

Told ya I'd come back! You should post full covers man! You explain stuff so well, I ain't a guitarist but you're making fine sense.
Keep in mind that our tutorials may sound different due to the way your guitars are tuned and also because I don't have a high E, I'm playing in standard tuning, have fun learning this!
