The two specs are completely different, it comes down to what you need out of the class I personally main awakening and it’s a really strong duelist (1v1s) and small scale (up to 3v3) class. However, in large scale pvp where big fights that could be as big as 100 player guilds vs each other you should definitely play succession. On a side note you can still play awakening in large scale pvp but you’ll have to adopt a rat play style where you play on the sides picking up small group fights and flanks or doing utility like protecting cannon/attacking enemy cannon. It really comes down to your preference in the end and always remember you can simply swap specs with the press of a button, so why not play both ;) ?

@@neo13ix I'm practicing playing succ. I find it quite easy to play and doesn't require too much manipulation. Which means I deal very little damage and die quickly in combat. I see a lot of people recommending awk. but I know it has a lot of buttons and it takes a lot of time to know what to do, what to do, and how to do it.... I'm so old 🤣

@@neo13ix I have to say, the ranger is very nice and pvp is pretty solid if the numbers are low. These days I go to rbf to hang out. I don't know what ranger succ will do in there.

@@neo13ix there's more. On the server I play on, they don't play AOS... I think that mode is quite good to get used to pvp. but no one plays. Or maybe the time I found the game was quite early Can you make a short awk combo video? Infinity combo is better. I will practice and take it to spam in rbf 🤡

Both specs do fine in rbf you just gotta pick your fights, and for solare you can get to know some people that want to play as well and group up to form a custom game and get practicing! For awakening combos I have another video i recently uploaded as well which is all awakening pvp, you should check it out for some combos and I’ll hopefully upload more soon ☺️

You've got a handful of options when it comes to quickly canceling regenration's unprotected animation, wind step, winds of the prairie, or spirit's haven are all good options 💯

@@neo13ix I know those XD. I've made plenty of combos with her, I just never dashed out of Regen, usually Natures Tremble or Wind Blade if I don't do that ridiculous combo I usually do. OH! That could be interesting. What's your craziest combo? Even though high AP Rangers don't need to do it, its still a very good flex XD

@@gravemistakes8427 Well, I’d still say practicing an extended combo is important against gauntlets and heavy dr targets! My combos changed with the latest changes we got on ranger though haha, but it’s still something in the context of getting a catch, close the gab with waltz and breezy then wailing into tempest for debuffs, if i am against evasion target i use coldblade accuracy buff then regen into elven into vine knot and depending on how much hp enemy has left i either go backwards waltz into wind blade into nature then shotgun if low or space bow swap into wotw spam with shotgun at the end if not, also you could fit guardian wind somewhere there now with the changes, actually decent damage :)

@@neo13ix Impressive. We can't shotgun out of Natures on Console in awakening though. Once we get the ranger changes, I'm gonna have to muscle memory the crap out of Waltz of wind from their backside, Coldblade full combo for the stiff then knockdown, transition into bow and use the dagger, spin dagger for what I think should be around 42% move/att spd slow debuff, transition into awake, Sprit Haven, Wind Blade, Nature's Tremble, Elven's rage and finish with a safe disengage with Winds of the Prairie and harrass with the bow. You should see how mad people get when they get up from the dagger only to move slower than Gary the Snail XD
