Greenworks 60 volt Zero turn
Переглядів 2,3 тис.Рік тому
Here is my review on the Greenworks 60 volt rechargeable zero turn. While it will not be able to replace our main zero turn on the homestead, it is surprising a well made mower. Full disclaimer. I am not sponsored by Greenworks and I paid full price for this mower. Hope you enjoy the video, and thanks for watching.

It rained a little bit today.

The rain flooded the the roads around the homestead and I am trying to get home. Do not drive in a flooded road unless you know what you are doing and how deep the water is. Don't try this at home, I am what you may call a professional couyon. As always. Thanks for watching.

      You probably say crayfish instead of crawfish, also. They are also called dirt dauber, dirt digger, or mud wasp, depending where you are from.

      @@southlouisianahomestead244I have heard them called dirt daubers, mud daubers, mud wasps, dirt wasps, organ- pipe wasps and potters wasps. But I have never heard dirt diver or mud diver or dirt digger. I've been all over the country.

      We call it mud divers, woss (we ain't got time for annunciation down here) we too busy partying, working and making friends and we laugh our asses off at the uptight ayeholes who pitch a fit every time we talk.

    Curious if are still using the 5% vinegar vs higher concentrations? There are several video’s using 20-30% concentrations and wondering if anything has changed for your formula. How long in between reapplications? Have a lake cabin and would like something to help with weed control and not get into the lake water or ground water etc.. Thanks for any reply.

    Around these parts those 8ah batteries are expensive, but they are a long term investment. I always buy extra batteries so I can swap them if I need them. They aren't as cheap as you mentioned in this video, but if you go into this with the plan to add more batteries as you can and you will have extra power when you need it. I like the batteries are interchangeable with the other Greenworks tools so I consider it an advantage to take them out and swap them. Plus my barn isn't heated in the winter so being able to bring the batteries in where it is warm to take care of them is a bonus. Thanks for sharing, this looks like a very capable mower. Dare I say better than my gas mowers in several ways.

    • @southlouisianahomestead244
      @southlouisianahomestead244 Рік тому

      Might I suggest buying the batteries online, because they are the same price I mentioned on the Greenworks web sight and Amazon.

    • @Longsnowsm
      @Longsnowsm Рік тому

      @@southlouisianahomestead244 Thanks, I looked online and see there is a sale going on right now for those 8ah batteries direct with Greenworks. They are still spendy even on sale, but cheaper than ordering with Tractor Supply. As long as the batteries last for a good long while I am fine with just adding some batteries one at a time over time so I have spares. You are right about the fact it is too quiet. When you get off it is easy to forget the mower is on. I can see walking away and leaving it on. That could be a problem. Hopefully I will remember and be taking the batteries out anyway to charge them.

      I used a piece of what is called bank line on the back porch and chain in the carport. I also used the string from a feed bag in the barn. It doesn't seem to matter. Use what you have available.

    Awesome video! You earned a subscriber. This is pretty ingenious for gas caps in general. I've been everywhere on youtube and looking for ways to replace a weedwacker gas cap gaskets with other recycled material. You may have discovered it. I wonder if you could use it as a weedwacker cork gasket replacement. Can't see why not? I think the hdpe plastic in big jug fabric softeners and detergents seem to be the type. I'm hoping you'll make a video if it works. Thank you and take care.
