Gramophone box restoration featuring Creality Falcon2 Pro
I stumbled across this 1943 HMV gramophone a couple of months back, sadly the internal parts are long gone but the English oak box was still worth restoration. Creality had also reached out and asked if i would like to use their 40w laser engraver for one of my videos so i decided the HMV box was the perfect project.

Trash Table Makeover - I Gave This One New Life!

When I say its trash that's not strictly true as I paid $20 for it over a year ago. It sat around all that time as I wasn't sure what to do with it. I always knew the top was trash, crappy old Formica that was clearly not the original top but was added so that this table could be used to mount a sewing machine. OK, so i was at a charity shop a few weeks ago and the amazing sales lady managed to offload a van full of furniture on me. Among the pieces was this painted buffet/side board. I could see it wasn't anything special, very shabby and rudimentary in construction but I was still intrigued. As the paint layers came off I discovered it was worse than I had imagined, builders bog everywhere and joint...

I picked up this single nightstand from Marketplace for $40. With hints of mock art deco and a horrid finish, this Oak piece was crying out for a re finish. These old incomplete architects plan drawers were purchased for $50. The seller believed they had originally been used in city council offices or a library. I found this upcycled desk at a local zero waste center for $20. At some point in its life the original pine draws had been stained green and then later painted white and the top had been covered in some kind of flooring material??
