Hey guys, so a little quick info, i bought the ponytail from my local beauty supply store and it originally came wavy, when i first got it, it was longer i cut it over the months to freshen it up a bit! It is a synthetic ponytail. it comes with 2 combs and one drawstring, i razored off the back comb for better comfort. and yes i am natural, and i thought this was a good protective hair style. j...

    Thanks for sharing so question on the calamine lotion, so do you not apply over your brows before doing them?

    • @_chatoria
      @_chatoria Рік тому

      Yes you can, you will have to work hard to fill them in due to the white residue, I don’t put it on my eyebrows because I like for my brows to have skin peaking thru and since the calamine have a white tint, I try to avoid my brows

    P.s. Erno Lazlo’s Shake-it Tinted Treatment, well anything Erno Lazlo, is $$$. I was looking at the ingredients and saw a lot of fragrances listed along with some skincare goodies, but the main mattifying ingredient was the chemical name for Calamine Lotion, along with Zinc and the moisturizing ingredient was Glycerine and Denatured Alcohol for toning. Please check it out for yourself, though. I thought it would be worth a try to see if I could put together a dupe by adding an inexpensive mineral powder foundation for the correct tone. The Clear Calamine would provide even more options. I guess COVID Quarantine has brought out the mystery-makeup chemist in me. Side note: Marilyn Monroe had very dry skin and would use Vaseline to keep her moisturizer “locked” in, blot with a tissue, then apply Shake-it on top and would continue to layer until she got her coverage just right, resulting in that iconic, flawless complexion.

    @silverbullet4055 3 роки тому

    I wonder if applying Clear Calamine Lotion (with a cotton ball?) on TOP of foundation & powder; seems like it would work like Erno Laslo’s Shakit. Seems like it would work like Fixing Spray. Your thoughts?

    Going out to purchase some calamine lotion today! Didn't realize how good it was for acne and anything that was affecting the skin.
