    Who's pretreating and drying that chemical that smells like poison because it is? The Pre-Treat takes more time than the printing! DTF is better and offers better shirts, bags, hats, and anything else you can Heat-Transfer on!

    For 55k buy 2 good heat presses hotronix dual stations and buy your transfers. You'll save a ton of money and won't have to worry about any of the maintenance, or pretrating or buying an expensive convection oven. For 55k it needs to be 5 times that speed

    Once you have this machine, printing is not an issue anymore but pretreatment is the real issue. Epson should make a pretreat machine if they are making production printers like the F3070. They should provide an end to end solution.

      in an actual work flow, this is how printers should run. Why buy $50k machine and just have 1 person to run everything from A-Z? Like any other production in any factory, you have different people for different jobs. One single man can not assemble a whole car/phone, or pretty much anything you can think of. Getting back to this setup, pretreatment and drying can be handled easily by another worker + 1 good dryer and 1 good automatic sprayer

    Very important questions that I have not found an answer to: 1. Comparison of the service life of the heads. 2. Comparison of durability of prints for these devices. And a comparison of the durability of the prints of these machines with AEOON and Kornit, which ink lasts a very long time.

    Hi hope all is well with you. Please I have a question, do you keep 100 pre-treated t-shirts ready just waiting for the customer to place the order? Because I understand that this production that the video shows is very large and difficult to achieve with a F3070.

    I have two F2100’s and I think I need to make the jump just for the ink savings. … I’ve also heard of people buying the ink pouches for these machines, extracting the ink and putting them into after market refillable carts for the F2100. Effectively lowering the cost per print while still using the same formula ink. There’s so many hacks you can learn from FB forums.

    Hi there, What resolution settings were you using? Were you printing at production res (1200x600) or was it at 1200x1200. How many passes? 4,6,8,12? What pretreat did you use and how much did you use? What were the zone drying temp and time did you have? (both for the pretreat cure and the print cure)? Thanks!

    • @NazdarSourceOne
      @NazdarSourceOne 2 роки тому

      Hi Jonathan! Epson used a variety of modes to simulate production at different levels and passes. Depending on the makeup of the garment, they used the suggested 1:1 ratio of Epson pretreat at the recommended between 30-35 grams sprayed onto the garment. If you'd like more information, email us at s1promo@nazdar.com. We can connect you with one of our DTG specialists who can answer more specific questions about what speeds and production you are looking to meet.

    Hi there,im from Malaysia and using F2000.Is it possible to use dryer also?Now im using heatpress to cure the printing.Whats the diffirent between both curing method?Thanks in advance

    • @NazdarSourceOne
      @NazdarSourceOne 3 роки тому

      Hi! Yes, you can absolutely use a dryer to cure the shirts printed on an Epson F2100 DTG. The difference between using a dryer and heat press is mostly with handfeel. The garment cured through a dryer will feel more similar to a screen print. The garment cured on the heat press is being pressed down and therefore will have a smoother, more heat-transfer-like texture. Using a dryer can also help streamline your operation to some extent and is required for a high-production printer like the F3070. With a heat press, you have to load and unload as well as monitor the heat press depending on your model. Whereas with the dryer you set your load the shirt on the belt and have a garment basket on the other end to catch.

    It is a great demo of leveraging this printer for optimal performance...but it really isnt showing the whole process of creating 100 shirts on 50k of equipment...you still need to prep shirts and load art and barcode...while it is a great capabilities demo of the F3070 and workflow....it is very misleading to a new person coming to this industry.....please dont misconstrue my comment...I love this video..but buyer beware...all of the planet's are in alignment to make this video work...

    • @NazdarSourceOne
      @NazdarSourceOne 3 роки тому

      You are right! There is absolutely the pre-treat, heat press, and artwork/barcode loading times to consider when estimating your print-time on any direct-to-garment printer. Pre-press for DTG is considerably faster and less involved than traditional screen printing making it great for medium- to short-run jobs or on-demand garment printing. It is important to note that the video alone doesn't show the pre-press work and we appreciate your feedback on that. The Nazdar SourceOne DTG experts can estimate that process for your business based on volume, staffing and shop setup when you're considering buying a DTG printer. Shoot us an email if there's anything we can help you with! S1promo@nazdar.com

    What is average cost per print? And is maintaince costly? As we're planning to buy one as well!

    • @NazdarSourceOne
      @NazdarSourceOne 3 роки тому

      Hi! The average cost per print will vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, size of print area, quality mode, garment quality, and garment color. The art we printed in this video ---> ua-cam.com/video/R0EuYePTQ5M/v-deo.html had an ink cost of $1.03 at quality mode 3 on a dark garment. Maintenance isn't costly at all and only takes about 5 minutes per day. The F3070 maintenance cartridge costs around $50 and uses a minimal amount each time. Shoot us an email at s1promo@nazdar.com and we can get you in touch with one of our experts and provide a cost example based on one of your art files and specifications.

      Hi! This demonstration from Epson shows two direct to garment printers utilizing automation software for job barcoding. Barcode automation is a powerful tool for tracking and loading print jobs in a busy shop receiving multiple, small-run orders. This can also add a little time to each print to load a new job. If you send 100 of the same print to the F3070, running on a dark garment at level 3 print mode, you can print 2 full-sized prints in 2 mins 15 seconds (see this video: ua-cam.com/video/dVu8GCpVQM4/v-deo.html). Output will always vary based on print mode, artwork size and dark vs. light garment.

    So if the F2100 can print at half the speed of the F3070 why not buy two F2100's for a little more than half the price? I guess it cost a bit more per print but Is it worth spending $50k plus?

    • @NazdarSourceOne
      @NazdarSourceOne 3 роки тому

      Great question! There are several aspects to cover but for the most part, the answer depends largely on how much volume you plan to produce. The F3070 is listed as an industrial DTG printer, designed to function 2 to 3 shifts per day. The bulk ink bag system is very price competitive. The ink price to print the design in the video is $1.03 for the F3070 vs $2.24 for the F2100. A huge difference in your ink costs and your profitability when you choose the F3070. There are several automated features that the F3070 offers that the F2100 does not that can help speed up everything from set-up, to printing and overall maintenance of the machine. The F2100 is a fantastic entry-level DTG printer with a low cost of entry into the DTG market. The slower print times and higher cost of cartridge ink might not be suited for higher volume, multi-shift production. However, it is perfect for smaller runs. If we can cover anything else for you, feel free to reach out! You can email us directly at: s1promo@nazdar.com or visit us online: F3070: bit.ly/S1-EpsF3070 F2100: bit.ly/S1-Eps-CustomShirt
