I'd never heard of your banjo company until now when I just happened on your video. I've owned three longneck Vegas over the years but am down to just one, which I made, and is a "tribute" to Pete's lignum vitae neck, (attached to a Vega TubaPhone pot) that Pete made and which was his. main banjo for so many years. I agree with your comment that the extra mass of the longneck enhances the tone of the instrument. I made mine in 2009 the occasion being a commemoration of Pete's 90th birthday. I sent him photos of it which he gratefully returned along with signing them and including a nice note. I enjoyed your video.
