      As auxiliary trip oil pr between OSRD & OSTV is zero ,if you release the 1 st valve without pressing the 3rd valve ,turbine will trip.

      No sir,i mean what if we press the 3rd v/v at first..here in our plant sir log are saying first we need to check the operation of 3rd v/v,then only we need to proceed for the entire said process of yours,else if the 3rd v/v didn't work after we press the 1st v/v then we're struck.

      @@artistyacts 3rd valve is used to reset the OSRD .If you press the 3rd valve Control oil will flowto aux trip line between OSRD &OSTV.If you press the 1st valve without checking the 3rd valve ,then After testing of OSTV ,it may create problem if control oil does not flow .

    Sir pls explain 3rd point in NR needs blocking, tsc on & faulty, it means we don't know the actual margin avl, but it should act when we want to cross critical speed, but if Nact>2850 that means we have already crossed it, then what is the point of blocking NR, pls explain

      In speed control mode Dn/Dt plays an important role when speed less than 2850 rpm.

    As per my experience, Graphenizer-4 oil (made with Graphene) can take the Turbine lube oil system to next level for sure. a.)     Last week in our 500MW unit due leakage in HPCF pump, unit tripped due to trip oil pressure reduced, Also afte some time both HPCF pump stopped, But the vacuum breaker valve Didn't opened as you explained in video, Also from local it's not operating due to absence of control oil, Due to which High vibration observed during coasting down, as we don't have any other option, What could be the reason for not opening of vacuum breaker. Note, (Manual open command given And SLC is oFF condition)

      SAFETY VALVE IN CRH line :- 1 on each side ( LEFT + RIGHT ) In HRH line :- 2 on each side ( Normal safety valve + ERV) The pr. for popping of ERV is set less than that of normal SV. Pr set for ERV :- 48 kg/ cm2 For normal SV :- 49.5 Kg/ cm2 Both valves are only for indication purpose

      @@manasdas740 In HRH two Safety valve are given .Pr set for popping of SV is less in HRH as compared to CRH .The main reason is that In case of pop up ,SV of HRH should pop first in order to avoid the RH tube leakage due to starvation

    IN SADC LOGIC ,oil dampers of CD and AB elevation open when OIL GUNS are taken in service perfectly, but when OIL GUNS are withdrawal they do not close on closings of HONV or LONV . HOTV and LOTV has to closed and again open then it gets close command. This is observation in our unit 250 MW BHEL unit, please tell your opinion

    Sir after stopping of unit after how many hours we can cut steam sealing and at what temperature of HP shaft we can stop barring gear safely. Can any process is there by which we can do force cooling of HP shaft

      After tripping off the unit ,first cut out the vacuum pump and then isolate the gland steam supply when the vacuum pr reaches 0.9 mmwc absolute pr . When HP shaft temp reaches 120°C close the barring gear valve . For the force cooling procedure I have already uploaded a video .please watch

    Why in post purge fan trip I'd trips when furnace pressure become positive, ideally it should run to drive out the combustibles.Also in post purge trip do ID & fd trip on both furnaces postive & negative or only in positive.Plz explain

      Post purge fan trip condition 1. MFT reset 2.Purging completed ,5 min complete 3.No oil gun in service means all LONV, HONV are closed. 4.Furnace pr very high or very low 5.Air flow> 30% but less than 40%

      For X1,X2,X3 Curve ,Three Temp are important.MS temp Before HPBP or HPSV, Mid wall Temp HPCV & MS saturation temp .

    Sir, one question. I understand that recirculation pump and Fan is provided to maintain oil temperature of HPSU. Why particularly this kind of arrangement is provided and not a simple DMCW water based lub oil cooler not provided?

      Fire resistant fluids ( FRF) is used in LP HPSU .It offers better fire protection than mineral oils because of the higher auto ignition temperature.Circulation fan is used only to maintain temperature around 46-50°C . A regeneration pump is used to maintain the oil properties. FRF oil , a synthetic fluid contents Tri-Xylenyl Phosphate Ester demonstrates best Fire Resistant properties . Phosphate Esters are highly hygroscopic (tendency to absorb water) in nature and the esterification process is reversible when Phosphate Esters come in contact with water. This is referred to as hydrolysis. The higher the water content and temperature, the faster the ester will break down by hydrolysis.

      Circulation fans are not always in service,it will cut in at a certain temp and cut out after achieving high temp.

      Sir, one more question: In HPBP OSU, there's no need for recirculation pump. I guess maybe due to change in oil property. My question is why different type of oils used in HPBP and LPBP when the use of both will be during same time?

      After synchronisation when load cones to 40% trip device to be on .On means untrimmed .

      Upto 40% load trim device is off .It means IP CV is opened according to load .When IPCV opened to 80% then the Trim device to be untrimmed so that IPCV to opened 100%
