Well to me, there is no doubt, this is GREAT as it can get for a Banjo player in Mummerdom. I will combine this with two preliminary videos to show just what it means to be a Mummer in a String Band performance in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade String Band Division. My hat's off to the dedicated "Smile Factory" of the Fralinger String Band.

Ferko is one of my Favorite String Bands. My Great Uncle Played In the Ferko string band back in 1950's every time I see the ferko string band March it always reminds me of my great uncle That my Mom told me of her Uncle.you all done a great Job.

it was written for harry hills funeral procession down 2nd st to the club & played as a tribute to fralinger

Oh, and the song was from the movie "Royal Wedding" and was one of our street songs, but we did play it because they were the ones that popularized it in the Mum world.

They were cheering, it's just hard to hear in Andrea's video. From what a few of their guys told me, they were kinda aggravated that there were so many people in between the 2 bands and they couldn't even see what was going on.

They played, Fralingers song, just hand the trophy over and then no cheers as the trophy is paraded through the band.
