Thanks for posting this. I recently read Gong This Book. I appreciate the research you put into the book. Many articles and podcasts on the subject of Chuck Barris claim he was a megalomaniacal person and neglectful parent who enjoyed humiliating the contestants on his game shows. Your book illustrates he was neither saint nor devil,simply human.

Yup! Main thing that would've made this movie better is if they had a freaking intermission like old epic films used to. Gone with the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, and others had intermissions for JUST this very reason. I was dying by the end of Dune Pt 2. 😭
