Are you running your AKR on the bolt stop mags? Everywhere I've looked I cannot find any for them!

American here, just offering a little clarity. 1st is a very mundane bit of semantics but AR pattern rifles are not typically gas piston but direct gas impingement 2nd bit you touch on is US law on various parts seemingly focused on machine guns. Federal law doesnt outright make posession of auto-sears selectors and such illegal. It gets a bit murky but the key take away is if it can readily convert or allow full auto you're liable to make the government nervous. We get parts kits all the time with complete select fire trigger sets. We dont get in trouble for this unless we modify or situate ourselves in a way that allows us to use these parts for automatic function ie. If I've an AR lower, m16 trigger set, the necessary drill bit and a jig or pattern to mark that 3rd hole its constructive intent. (Of course if you've drilled the requisite hole for the auto sear and dont have a government permission slip, it's an automatic game over) the trigger parts in america is ultimately a misnomer spurred by an abundance of caution (easier to avoid the potential issue altogether as there are several nuances to the matter which ive likely oversimplified) for those who build their own firearms (still legal in most of the country) its their responsibility to ensure what they build isnt capable of firing or being readily modified to fire full auto
@spinner4life2 thanks for the clarification, maybe I misspoke about gas piston while meaning DI (although technically speaking ARs aren't true DI either but more internal gas piston ) thanks for clarifying on the selector parts , I was miss informed that you couldn't own such parts without the required hoops being jumped through
@HTISAirsoft fairly common misconception. Part the government is most concerned with is if a firearm can be readily modified to accept the parts and if the parts will constitute a giggle switch. Have built a number of firearms from parts kits wherein the donor weapon was a de-milled machine gun, LOTS of the components in question have passed through my hands, law enforcement doesn't even flinch when I mention "it was a parts kit build" and explain what all that entails ie. "I had to do the semi conversion on the trigger pack myself as nobody else in the area was familiar with this platform"

Your video perfectly captures my experience with the same product I bought this year. It is very realistic, both in appearance and feel. The internal parts being made of steel are particularly impressive. i have converted it to full stroke. Additionally, I have changed it to a paratrooper.. t was particularly difficult to disassemble, and it seemed that there was adhesive inside the outer barrel, so I heated it before removing it. With the CO2 magazine, the hammer locker couldn’t strike properly, and it didn’t even blow back. I am looking forward to your next video. Greetings from Japan.
i am planning to replace my GHK AKMS internals and lower receiver. do you think its possible to put V3 lower receiver and internals to my AKMS (i will change the stock from undervolded to tube)?
@imanuelkevinmayola2262 honestly it's easier to just sell the akms and get the akm as you will need to change most of the parts anyway
@@HTISAirsoft in my country, airsoft is semi banned imports. So the price of ghk will be 3 times as i need to pay for the customs inner circle to allow it to enter. But if i upgrade 1 by 1 it is the same price plus the tax😭. Even real firearms is 10x.
@imanuelkevinmayola2262 oh I see, it might be better for you then but you will need to change the whole receiver , bolt carrier group , top cover and stock assembly for sure

This is such a good channel, thanks for the detailed breakdowns! My FAL arrived last week and it's a beast; can't wait to run it this weekend. Struggling to source surplus furniture in the UK though, which is annoying. Also seems the dnA steel parts are sold out everywhere, so hoping they'll do a new batch soon.

Is it a significant improvement from a G17 gen4 by TM? I have it and it is the best made TM pistol, as far as I know, and I know a bit, cause I have several TM pistols: 1911 Foliage Warrior, Samurai Edge Standard, SE High Grade, SE Blue Umbrella. I also think the 1911 and G17 v4 by TM are more accurate than the Umarex pistols I have (M9A3, 96A1, USP Compact)
@bendakstarkiller1270 it's not a huge Improvement over the gen 4 aside from the functional improvements offered by the real gen 5 such as ambi slide release , rmr cut etc
@bendakstarkiller1270 also those umarex pistols you mention are thr kwa and kwc based models of old . The vfc based models are a huge improvement. Remember umarex don't make anything, they just license others to make for them

Hello, and 1000 thank for this video. I am portuguese and I had the H&K G-3 when I was in the regular army of Portugal. They still have it at the armed forces since the 60s. What a gun!! I wish I could build a gas replica with real steel parts. But it seems impossible now... To bad, my friend!! Maybe on thay I will afford a gas replica...

4:57 this bothers me already. Take down lever for the gas tube is wobbling even not when touched really. I'm considering a GBBR AK but GHK is just not an option for me anymore after all the things I read and saw. Granted, most GBBRs don't really have the "standard" that I apply to stuff I buy. So many with so many different problems and stupid little kinks for a price tag that a real one would cost. IMHO airsoft are cheaply made knock offs sold for way to much, much more than they are really worth. I'm waiting for VFC bringing out their new AK GBBRs but I already have low hopes they will be any better really. Yeah steel is nice on airsofts but that steel is garbage steel, untreated, not in any shape or form resembles anything like the original. Try hammering on a real AK and do the same with an airsoft toy. That steel will deform like lead.... like fooking lead... So soft. Bleh.
