Great bike when is it available for sale and does it come with the Whyte carbon rims or the DT Swiss HX531
We have one available online at uprisebikes.com and at our ebike store in Swansea. The Stag Works comes with the DT Swiss rims on Hope Pro 5 hubs!
It's so ugly 🥹
Looks more stable for placing the touring bags on. Wildcampers may just love this.
We think this is going to appeal to so many riders who like the idea of a Brompton but may have been put off by the smaller wheels and narrower tyres, 20" wheels plus wider tyres and disc brakes are an amazing evolution for the platform!
Que razón tienes @@UpriseBikes
Great well put together review! This made me decide to pull the trigger on one of these bikes... getting a belt drive, solid fork electric bike that looks like a normal bike is really hard to find at the moment!
Couldn't agree with you more, Orbea have nailed the Urban eBike. Have a great time with yours!
Would you pick this over rival bikes
Thanks for the comment! Its a really tough one, there's so many great "hardcore" hardtails on the market right now, we also reviewed the Orbea Laufey which goes toe to toe with the Big Trail, both have amazing features, components and they both ride really well, both come in at a similar price so it would come down to which features you prefer. I rode the Big Trail at a UK trail center and it was the complete package, was a fantastic climber but was also great fun on the descents. The lower spec models are great value but the Rockshox Pike fork sold it for me, even as the base level fork it felt very supple.
Bases on my own 160 and earlier 160/160e reviews, unless the dropper post has been redesigned the adjustable top out will almost certaintly fail.
We've seen few people mention issues with the dropper posts, its not something we had an issue with on testing but did you see Merida released an updated adjustable dropper?
These look crazy!! How do they compare against the Turbo Levo? Will you review the carbon aswell? 👍👍
Both are super EMTB options, We were blown away by how capable the eONE SIXTY is, one of the guys in the video went on to buy the 6000 model he loved it that much. If you want a bike to plough through the rough stuff with insane range, go alloy, if you want a lighter, more agile and playful ride that floats over the trail, then go carbon!
Amflow dji is the best ebike on the market right now.
As a new Dealer for Amflow we are working on a review and can't wait to find out what its made of, but the Merida is still an absolute weapon on the trail and can't be underestimated!
It's also worth noting they are very different bikes. The Merida is a longer travel, very versatile and packed with features.
Have you ridden both and how many did you ride?
As soon as our Amflow demo bikes arrive you can bet we will be doing a review on one. We tested two alloy models of the eONE SIXTY and a few staff members have gone on to buy the CF model based on their experience riding the alloy. They loved the overall performance but wanted to go for the lighter more agile ride feel over the extra weight and range of the alloy. Most of our riding here in south Wales is pretty steep and technical and the weather is unpredictable at best. Fortunately the Merida Bikes are very well made and can handle the local conditions.
What size you recommend for 177 cm rider for fun ride? Thanks
Orbea Size chart puts you on a Large!
Which models of the 160 did you test?
Our guys were on the 675 and 875 which were brilliant, but a few of our staff have gone on to buy the Carbon models and have been blown away, the bikes really agile and there's plenty of battery capacity for a long day out!
Good review mate.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome 🙌
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi new to channel guna sub any reviews on the voodoo bizango guys
Hi there, Voodoo aren't a brand that we sell and can't source to make a review of. However, if you check out our hardtail range at www.uprisebikes.com, I'm sure we could advise on a similar if not better alternative!

Very cute emporium of cycle land Academy of universe
Week limit on bike?
I am considering buying that bike as 2nd for flow trails, pumptrack, trips to work or even XC races. It looks so light. Do you think that 50km trip is possible on that machine? Of course on less aggressive tires. For enduro I go full suspension.
Make no mistake this is an aggressive trail bike, so its not going to be as competitive at XC races as an XC bike, if you're looking at bike packing and longer distance XC riding, the bike will be certainly capable of it, from there it's just down to your fitness. Nothing stopping you riding to work with the fork locked out then hitting trails after work, or loading it up and going camping and exploring. The purpose of this style of bike is if you only have room for one bike that needs to do a bit of everything, but with a nod to steeper descents. So yes it will do everything you mentioned, just don't look to it to be an XC missile, unless you're the missile, in which case it won't matter what the competition rides!. All the best.
@@UpriseBikes Thanks for quick answer. I mean XC races like "just fo fun" of course ;). Nice bike and review. I'm super hyped. Few days ago I tasted HT again and it was so refresh. I need something nimble and fun. Laufey can be too long and slack in my case. Best Regards!
Ive had a similar revelation recently, had a trip to the Forest of Dean trail network in England on a very similar bike to this Laufey [see another of our recent reviews ;) ] I did 15 miles with 2000ft of climbing around what was quite a small area and really enjoyed the bike on the flow trails, but was staggered at how well it climbed. I'd convinced myself on the size & geometry of bike I needed for years but having tried a few longer reach models, I can honestly say its a way better ride feel.
Very nice more Merida Bikes reviews Sir 🍻
Thank you! We're working on more!
How about bringing Marita to the states? I guess not because specialize makes their bikes from you. Anyway, I hope one day I could see a Merida being here in the states
Outstanding review of 600 MTB.
Thanks very much! we're dead impressed with the bike!
gotta be an awesome bike. i rode the previous version and it was soooo much fun. it ignited my love for hardtails
Same for us, the new geometry and ride quality have really got us excited for this bike!
Hey! Is that a H10 or a H-Ltd?
We were riding the H10 which was brilliant. The H-LITD has upgraded Race Face wheels and crank set, an SLX Cassette and a Fox 34 Fork. Super upgrades but if the budget is around 2K you get a lot of "bang for your buck" with the H10!
@@UpriseBikes great and thank for letting me know!
Nice
Thanks!
Did you actually noticed a compliance on this frame?
Feedback from our guys is very positive, Couple of our staff have the earlier gen Laufey and say it is a big improvement!
@@UpriseBikes thanks for the feedback
Would have been a no brainer for me with a shorter chainstay. Do you think they'll release a 2025 version?
This was new for 2024 so it will probably be a while before they change it up again!, There's definitely a balance to be struck between playful in the tech and stability at speed and this new Laufey is very good in that regard. Plus, with the improved compliance in the frame its a hardtail you could ride all day!
Ive had mine 3 months now and can only agree with your findings. Only thing is wish they'd address is some sort of suspension in the front.
Interesting idea, would be fun to see how this would effect the handling. It would definitely push the price of the bike up and also be another component that needs regular servicing though!
@@UpriseBikes Hi. I have to be honest the extra servicing would be worth it. I'm used to riding a Moulton so the hard ride of the Brompton was quite a drastic change. Almost like the old bone shakers of the 50s.
Only thing we could suggest would be fitting the largest volume tyres the Brompton can accommodate, and running them near the lower end of their PSI range, should provide a bit more comfort but you do run a higher risk of punctures.
@UpriseBikes Thanks for that, but to be honest because of the tight tolerances on the bike and the cost of new tyres I doubt the extra comfort would be worth the outlay. I'll keep trying and hope I adjust to the harder ride. 😊
Nice video 🤘👌
Thanks ✌
Great video!
Thanks! its a pretty sweet bike!
