Nowadays you can just do the thanksgiving day event (which I did kill the last boss in) and 1 hit him but if you want probably the best advice that I know, kill the 3 headed dragon on the left of parlus for Exodus which should take parlus down relatively quick.

Heavily outdated and this is not the same as the current fight the monsters remake which removed this weapon.
