Balmorhea State Park just reopened in July. It has been closed for over a year for renovations. I love this pool! It's a literal oasis in the west Texas desert. After a day of hiking the Davis Mountains, the spring fed pool was a sight for sore eyes.

I've been waiting for months to camp out at Colorado Bend. I love it out here. It is so secluded from modern life. So much nature to drink in. The water makes the experience for me. The Falls and its spring water are a welcome sight after the hike. A literal oasis in the hill country.

Beautiful Texas summer day at Pedernales Falls State Park. Perfect for watching the clouds from the shade. The spring was flowing and cooling off in the water is a must. I have been here many times. I am still in awe of this sacred water and it's centuries of carving stone.

Made it through the storm and up to Pagosa Springs. Wolf Creek was amazing with all the fresh powder on the mountain.
