How to repair a cracked or broken digitizer
Your just like me!! Nerdy into fans and jukeboxes!!
Ah-
Always analog on a BT device...😁
Wha?
Turn it off!! Your burning the wholly hell out of it.
WHY
SERIOUSLY
Yeah, I would agree that you spent too much time talking, and you do not require a jack for this job (I get why you did though). Most of the time when people look up a video like this, they just want you to get straight to the point. Dont spend a lifetime explaining what you're doing. That said, the actual content is fine. I would just shorten up your verbosity. Also, one thing you could explain is the size of the bolts. Thanks for the video, it will help me with my replacement.
Keep in mind I was 19 years old when I recorded this and was not a full-blown UA-cam creator at the time. If you watch my recent repair videos like replacing the blend door actuator on my Impala you will see just how much of an improvement has been made through the years.
@@whosaidavery Well done!
I have an 85 Bronco 2 and was born in 85. Unfortunately I think the year of the model came out a year early like today. We are buying 2025 in 2024. Never made sense to me. Sale tactic I'm sure. Like .99 cent vs 1 dollar. They were manufactured between 84 and 93. Rangers of the same years usually have replacement parts. Bronco 2s are really hard to find in salvage yards. Parts can be tough to find. Rangers have been my go to in the past for parts.
I’m crying 😭

You'd love to see the ones on the elevator at work. I'm not sure who built it but the elevator still runs on all the original electromechanical controls from the mid 1950's when the plant was built
Oh wow that one is a lot nicer than the one I bought along with my R86. That one had a wore out keypad and and no sound
First of, where and how have you been? I haven't heard tell of you since you left the bird application. Second, I finally got one! And I actually got a second one, a Sapphire 89. That one's like the one you had, with no lamp driver. It wasn't until just recently I found out that lamp driver with the sound activated lighting was optional on this model unlike the R-90 - R-92.
How much ?
At the time I recorded this it was about $212 and change

Thanks for clearing that up.
Definitely
Can Burger Sound work directly connected to electricity network (power supply) or only through the battery ?
I've asked the same question to different videos and no one replied me back yet! I want to connect it to my stereo full time.
@@tobystrickland8000 I get replies : yes possible With booth !
Either one
It can be operated with it just plugged in.
This guy Bronco 2's.
Thanks for this, i was having trouble pairing.

Never gotten to work on one myself but i would love to someday.
There's really not a whole lot to work on these things Luke except maybe replacing the Fluidmaster valve which literally just attaches and detaches like a hose and faucet.
I have the same machine at home and I use 6 regular sized tea bags. I'll let it steep for about 2 or 3 hours and it's perfect! I bought it new decades ago and it still works great!
For the record this one is used at least twice if not three times weekly at my workplace since I recorded this. I even bought a second one in the original box that I bring to my friend's house I stay with sometimes as well as conventions. Everyone always wants me to make my tea for them

I have done the drivers side twice on 2 of my Impalas, 2008 & 2016, they will start failing around 90K miles. my 2008 had 230K miles on it, these cars are so reliable that I cant believe they haven't fixed this issue its very annoying. The passenger side has easy access to change but the drivers side is an hours long job, I used a cheap Harbor freight flexible screwdriver to finally get the screws out. Not sure if its worth it, don't let the youtubers tell you its easy, it isn't unless you like laying upside down on your head ! lots of little cuts and bruises when done.
It's definitely a tedious process but it can be done. This was the first time I replaced one of the blend door actuators in this car.
I replace mine in abt 45 mins first time today wasn’t hard at all just make sure to move the seat all the way back and the steering wheel all the way up
will a starter that fits the bronco 2 that i buy from autozone work the same as a refurbished one? Or do i have to specifically get a refurbished one for the bronco 2 from ebay?
Depending on which one you buy from AutoZone you can get it with either a one year or lifetime warranty. If you're going to order any kinda starter online you should order it from RockAuto. They sell several different starter brands and most of them are cheaper than AZ. Yes you have to wait a few days for the shipping but it's worth it in the end because of the money you save and you're getting a quality starter that's gonna last.
@@whosaidaverydo you remember the brand or part number for the starter your purchased? Not really sure which brand to go with
All I can tell you is that it was a Valucraft starter from AutoZone with a one year warranty. I don't know the part number off the top of my head, but I was on a budget at the time this was recorded and just needed something that would start the truck up and this one has worked just fine since I installed it.
@@whosaidavery it seems my starter looks different than yours I have a 85 bronco 2. It has a head on top of the starter where I connect the red and black cables
@@whosaidavery idk if you can help me diagnose my truck but it’s been reliable until a couple days ago. I was reversing on a decline slope and it stalled. Tried starting it up again it would crank tried to press the gas and ended up flooding it. The truck hasn’t started since and it’s got to a point where when I turn the key it doesn’t even crank anymore. It’s currently parked on a decline hill if that may play a factor in carb with gas
So this is where they plugin the computer underyour dash, got ya I forgot all about that, still getting use to my cell phone ,thank ya
I just did this yesterday,4 screws 2electric harness,4 1/2 hrs. Now I have another problem my front brakes locking up ,my abs light andecs, somestablelizer light stays on any suggestions on where to start..disc pads r good full of fluid, calipers look good I could c it if it wasone I side but both so hot you couldn't touch them..could this b cause I didn't unhook my battery when changing my acularter.... 9:20 on
For the record my Impala does not have anti-lock brakes Stabili-Trak or traction control so I wouldn't know. It could be a number of things from a bad wheel speed sensor, a bad anti-lock brake module, the list goes on. These gen nines were bad about having issues with this.
GM makes the plastic gears so cheap they break, but with a bit of glass reinforced filler in the plastic, it would be just fine, but cheap GM screws us all over for 1/100th of a cent for each gear by doing what they do!

Won one of these as a raffle prize, not long after they first appeared in Sydney Tandy [Radio Shack] stores, so assuming it was late eighties. Still going strong. Not brave enough to put any of my [equally] vintage tapes in it though. Thanks for putting this video up! 👍
Mine still works fine as of today, I use the tape deck on a daily basis through the working week. I'm not afraid to put any tape in this thing, as it has new belts from an overhaul I gave it a while back it still works well.
@@whosaidavery I recently found one at a Goodwill for $9. It works, looks great, and I love the vintage vibe it brings to my desk. Haven’t tried the cassette part tho.
actually the 45 has very good depth
i could live without tv easily too , it's mostly shit anymore
