Looks like a cute legacy styled JRPG. I appreciate that the indie dev showed the button inputs...despite apparently not having some more robust tutorials. The map with clouds is quaint. I wonder if there were translation issues?

The animation cutscenes remind me of the older JRPG's like Xenogears that had anime cutscenes littered throughout the game. Combat for this looks responsive and the UI with the book aesthetic is beautiful. I might try this...seems like a more RPG feel than monster hunter, despite your assessment of the the collection gameplay loop.

Also Squirrel Girls ultimate can also be killed, though only if you hit the large squirrel that leads it.

Idk man as a guy who has played almost only competitive games my whole life, I like this game a lot. I can actually relax playing this game. Got 80 something hours rn in this game and havent thought once about quitting this game yet.

Playing as a mage myself- I noticed when you use skills you’re also in animation safe time. Good way to dodge if dodge won’t work

But the Star Wars extended universe was never canon. It was always separated from actual lore.

Just make sure you dont go too crazy, teammates need that shield too.

now i havent seen anyone say this but for the racoon you first have to unlock the greenhouse. when you do that watch the cut scene and you see him leave it. after that is when you can get the wind event and then repair his house. i dont know if people are just missing that in the cut scene or just skipping it cause they played so much they just skip it.
