This is actually deceptive. Many christians who believe in the literal prophecies of the word of God, that the bible means what it says and who refuse to pass everything off as "symbolism" , are actually not dispensationalists.They believe in what the bible ACTUALLY teaches about the restoration to tge land of Israel. The real danger is coming from those in the church who teach the very clear error that Christ somehow returned in 70 AD. I would like to reassure all christians concerned about this that they should not let themselves be troubled by those who teach that Christ had somehow returned in 70AD and that they somehow missed it. 2 Thessalonians 2 is worth reading on this point.

Dispensationalism is responsible for the destruction of a biblical approach to hermeneutics in general, and eschatology and ecclesiology in particular, for the past nearly 200 years. It's removed the biblical understanding of Israel, the Jewish people, the church, and the future of all three.
