AMEN Looks so clean!!!
@@aaronlevihutchison2443 tons of fun
I just ordered me the 99cm snowfeet . Hopefully I get good and get longer ones
Just ordered my USA Brunts. I need 12.5, but ordered 13s. Are they true to size? Thank you for your review!
@@chrisfusco1108 They are true to size. Let us know what you think once you get them. So far I am happy with them. But I do hear mixed reviews on them.
I definitely appreciate the railing videos. I mostly just install them out in the field, fit up returns and fix fab mistakes. Haven't the chance to fab them out yet. Hopefully in the future!
@@DanielFowler88 Installs are my favorite part of the railing jobs. That's when you get to see the finished product!
Nice work! Job looks great. I enjoy the content
@@davidtown6825 Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Excellent work as always. Nice to see the man behind work👍 You obviously do great work.. both technical and artistic and I really enjoy following your channel. I like the little tool you made for cleaning spatter from pipe! Anyways. Keep it up, I’m looking forward to more content. Hopefully you didn’t burn you’re stomach too bad while you were fire fighting😂😂
@@LorreEthier-wt2st I was wondering if anyone would catch that part 😂 Thanks for watching! I'll keep them coming!
I just recently found your channel and I'm enjoying your content. Great job on the pipe railing!!
Thank you, I am focusing more on making videos specifically for UA-cam instead of sharing the TikTok stuff.
Very nice ,I approve ,tricky with the powder coating,I'm in the same business.
Thank you, customers are thrilled with the job
Great job man Have a great turkey day!

Awesome work bro
Thank you!
Ive been thinking about starting a small business doing something similar
Go for it! Best decision I ever made!
Looks really great!
Thanks
I’ve been thinking about getting one. One is cheap on Facebook.
@@XIVMike they definitely come in handy. I have 2
I would love to see a full in depth video about taking the measurements you need and how you get the angles and what you use to get them. Pretty much railings for dummies 🤣
Thanks for commenting, I plan on going in depth on how I get my measurements. I have a small job next month that would make for a perfect video on that. I will have the second part of the video up in the next week. I am installing the finished rail Friday.
@ me and my buddy have been getting more and more railing jobs and I’d like to find a good way to get faster and getting the right measurements needed. Especially the angles.
@@XIVMikesometimes they can be a little tricky. Also I know a lot of guys will just build on site
@@phoenixfabrication5442 I am one of those guy lol I want to stop doing that and have little to no work onsite
@XIVMike I have some where I have to build onsite. It is a hard way of doing things
Thanks so much for sharing.Would you be interested in making videos of boots please? Thanks a lot.
Really curious about the USA one. Haven’t had a pair yet but i don’t hear great things about them
They are really extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I haven't heard anything bad about the USA made boots but I don't think they have been out long enough for anyone to do a full review yet. I was really Surprised how comfortable they were straight out of the box. Also they fit true to size.
How much would you sell this?
It is already sold. I don't remember what I got for it.
People always talk shit because they think they’re the best welders but no one knows nothing until you do it. Congrats. I am a certified welder myself, and I remember when I first started. Congratulations sir looks good keep going.
Well I've been welding and fabricating for 16+ Years. I feel sorry for the ppl that take time out of their day to bash someone else and usually have no clue what they are talking about. Thank you for commenting. Weld on🤟
Any updates on these boots? wanna see how they hold up after a month of work
I have been testing out the imported brunts for the last 3 months. After a little more time on the imported brunts I will switch over to the USA boots. Going to do an update video on the imported brunts soon
Awesome video! Thanks for the helpful tips

@@breaktime919 thanks for commenting! I'll be posting at least 1 to 2 times a week!
@ I’m hoping to get my start on my own here after almost 15 years in a shop. Any help on stairs and railings especially much appreciated! I figure that’s a great way to get into the game.
It's really hard to explain it. I am not the best teacher. But I'll try my best to get the knowledge I have out into the youtube universe. 🤟
Pro tip- Use a ridiculous amount of oil when using annular bits. The drills Ive seen have a reservoir to drip it in. The pin in the bit releases the oil. Its the difference of using the bit 2 times or 50 times. Also, I literally screamed NO when you mentioned sand paper. But I didnt know about the chuck adaptor, so I gleaned a bit of of info anyway.
@@3dservicesllc it came with a coolant feed bottle. I don't use it. Just gets in the way and makes a mess. I just use a couple drips of thread cutting fluid. Unless I am drilling a 1" Plus plate. Also have a coolant paste that works well. Never had any problems with bits dying too early on me. Thanks for the tip tho. Definitely won't do the sandpaper. 🤣
You never showed under the lace holes, its not leather. Im not a welder so it doesn't effect me but i can see where it would if you was a welder.
I'm a machinist. Are y'all having tall flowers in that enclosure ? Y'all could get a smaller one
Also putting benches around the flower pot
Oh okay I'm sorry. Y'all are doing great
What the hell are y'all making
Hahaha, making a flower pot 4'x9'
Can you measure the shank size of the Vevlor cutters and see if they are 3/4" like the Hougen cutters are? The design is the same, I wonder if they are interchangeable.
@@jamessowards3822 the bits it came with are 3/4" maybe a hair smaller. I'll check it with a bit tomorrow.
The chuck is know as a "Morris taper". It really holds better if you seat it down using a block of hardwood.
@@jamessowards3822 I figured that out about halfway through the plates I needed to drill. Lol
The usual cutter is called an "annular cutter".
Thank you for showing how the adapter goes on the chuck head...
I am going to do another video with that setup and how I would use it
I was a professional welder in another life and one thing noticed was that welding makes things hot. I used to wear gloves and saved myself a lot of burns. Just saying.........
Enjoy watching your videos. Learning a lot thanks
Thank you, trying to make them better. I think I at least getting the sound figured out. UA-cam is a great way to learn tips and tricks. I plan on sharing some of mine that I've picked up over the years
Check the motor doesn't get too hot?
@@Falstaff1893 I'll keep an eye on it. Will be doing a full review after I use it for awhile. I can tell you right now that it doesn't have the safety features like the other one I have. Probably do a comparison video with Hogan also.
@@phoenixfabrication5442 I got a Evolution Mag for durability & longevity but I also have some cheep Chinese made tools including a Vevor spring compressor they do what there intended for but I don't expect much lifespan from them as the I regard them as cannon fodder as the old saying goes buy cheap buy twice
I paid up for my Hogan mag drill. And I know it's quality that's going to last me a lifetime. This vevor drill is great value for someone that doesn't have $1,000 to spend on Hogan or Milwaukee brand mag drills.
@@phoenixfabrication5442 Yep were not all wealthy that's for sure! so good luck I'll will keep an eye on how the Vevor goes in the future
😂 the hell
Haces unos bonitos trabajos, si a esa base circular la hicieras girar ese trabajo quedaria aún mas llamativo
Thank you!
Dude, awesome! I took 2 years of welding in high school and recently been gathering gear and studying up to get my skills and knowledge back up to speed. I've been thinking about doing welding sculptures for some extra money to help pay bills. How much would you get for a piece like this and how do you sell your stuff. Any advice would be appreciated.
I did 2 years at welding class too. When I started making art I just made what I wanted to make or thought would look cool and gave it away to friends and family. Then ppl started asking to buy my art so I started selling it. You can find local art fairs to apply to. I took a class on how to sell, market and how to apply to art fairs. Also if you have any galleries in your area you can ask if they would like to sell your work. If you start making stuff you will find your own groove and style with things that work and things that don't work. Make on🤙
@@phoenixfabrication5442 Hey man, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, getting started now seems a lot less intimidating, lol 😅👍
I love cheat sheets. I’m too stupid to figure yours out though, care to do a video on it? Or a quick explanation here thanks!
@@breaktime919 I will be doing a video on the sheet I use. It's too hard to explain over text. Keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks
21mm is just slightly larger than a 13/16 bit.
Making things fit a little easier. But I am still going to keep these bits far away from the standard bits I am used to using. 😂
@@phoenixfabrication5442 a 20mm bit is more than 3/4" but less than 13/16". Did the drill come with that size?
It came with sizes 16mm through 27 mm.
Nothing can be learned from this.
Question, why not just fabricate the whole rail in the shop, then go back to anchor the railing down instead of doing some welding? not saying it is wrong and it works since you can technically build the whole rail on site but why not just do it in the shop if you already begun it at the shop? just curious to you why you do it that way.
Good question, It was a rush job that needed to be done ASAP. When I went to measure the job I totally forgot to take those measurements. So instead of going back out to get the measurements I needed I just fabricated it on site. I prefer to do all work in the shop and powder coat but this needed done ASAP per customer request.
A rail man is a real man.
I think I heard that before... The customer was all smiles after install. Carpenters are going to come in and finish the top off with a wood cap.
do yourselves a favor and buy some Nicks
Over price junk boots. I’ll pay an extra 50 and buy a pair of Irish setter that are resoleable instead of wasting money on throw away boots.
Have you tried the new marin boots they are made in the USA? Don't knock them until you try them
Brunts are super comfortable. Don't know what this guy is talking about
@@phoenixfabrication5442 they might be comfortable out of the box but they are POS
The USA made Brunts are resoleable
@@SergeantBurke USA made Brunts come with welted sole. The Chinese versions are a glued sole.
You should weld out the pickets. All the way around. They' will break loose one day. I've been fabricating rails and such for 28 years. I've seen many pickets broken loose because of one sided welds.
💯 can not disagree!
I agree with you. Same thing I told the customer. But sometimes the customer gets what they want. At least it's an interior railing so don't worry about water getting in.
Is there a site we can order from?
