I only wear the male service cover when I wear my class A's otherwise I wear the flight cap in my opinion it's more practical. Another fun fact in case you didn't know the mail service cover has a chin strap you can fold down and actually use mind you the only time you're allowed to have it down is on parades.

My unit commander asked me Lieutenant would you please kindly escort these 2 little old ladies out the front door the patches aren't coming off 😂. One of them got furious and told him yeah will see about that when we come back next month. I opened the door and told them to go Pound Sand they never came back i still have The American Flag on my M81 Woodland BDU- Battle Dress Uniform that was back in 2010 the year i joined . National finally told us we could keep them until the phase out date back in 2015 when The Civil Air Patrol Air Force Auxiliary adopted The ABU- Airman Battle Uniform that it wouldn't be worn . The reason why they wanted it removed was because The Army is the only branch of service that wares The Reversed American Flag Patch.

Is it possible for me to just visit a squadron meeting if I’m already in another one?

I am going to my first Squadron meet on Monday I spoke to the colonel that was commanding the Squadron over the phone and he said if you're 18 we can either make you a Cadet or a senior member what should I do the other thing I told him was I'm visually impaired I come from ROTC so I told him all I'm really good at is well teaching drill and ceremony

Hello I have a comment regarding the ABU uniform. I am reading everywhere on line that the AF is doing away with this Pattern and going with OCP? I just purchased a new set of ABU digital tiger stripe set so is it going to be outdated any time soon? Thanks for your assistance in this mater and keep up the good work on your videos!

As a USMC Veteran who got out in 2000 before they changed camouflage and uniform design patterns, we STARCHED our BDUs or “Cammies” as we called them, to the point that they MIGHT stand up on their own in the corner. This was for the sake of having a more professional, or not having a “nasty” appearance, in the Marine Corps vernacular. The care label said NOT to starch them but we did it anyway. IF you choose to starch your ABUs, cadets should seek parental assistance. You should use a lower heat setting and steam. Do not soak or apply a single heavy spray of starch to your uniform. Spray it thinly and evenly over entire uniform and wait for the starch to dry, as you would a coat of paint. IF you choose to starch your uniform, you can and should use additional layers if you choose, for added stiffness for that sharper appearance. Do this outside with uniform hanging on porch or other such place to keep starch from spraying all over space around uniform and the scent of spray infesting the house. If you use high temp and holding iron too long over area, you will more than likely burn the starch and it will glaze over and look nasty. Also, if you starch, use a separate iron for ironing over starch. Starch will build up on bottom of iron and will leave nasty gick all over whatever you iron over in the future, thereby ruining the iron. Practice starching and ironing made perfect for us. Our caps or “Covers” were most often so stiff with starch that it permanently held the shape of it and never returned to appearance ever again. This was done to preserve octagon shape of USMC Covers. After too much wear, the mixture of starch, sweat, and dirt made the Cover dirty around headband and bill. Starch used in reasonable amounts will wash out. We made such a sharp crease over a long enough period in our trousers that they never lost them. NOTE: This was how we kept our older uniform design looking professional. They looked very wrinkly if not done this way. The design of the newer uniforms look good without starch but frequent washing and flat ironing without creases is the preferred appearance and looks professional. Any uniform starts to look unkempt and unprofessional after enough wear. I am merely explaining how we did things years ago when I was in the military. YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR SQUADRON COMMANDER IF YOU ARE AUTHORIZED TO DO THIS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO SO!

How do you put on the cardboard for name tapes

Should two counter arguments be fended off in the same paragraph and then another be fended off in the conclusion? Would fending off two arguments in one paragraph make the paragraph to long?

Man, I could have used this video. It released literally the day after I took my test. I still passed part 1 and 2 with 100% each (part 2 in five minutes), but still, would have been nice to have. All jokes aside, thanks for the vid, we have a C/SrA who's been at the grade for over a year, and this may help, plus, this is the first channel I go to for anything CAP related. Thanks @redberryweo!
