Welcome to my channel Scarlett Glows Up! A "glow up" is a major transformation. As women, in midlife it can be a struggle. We live in a youth obsessed culture but here on this channel I will focus on embracing the unique wisdom and beauty of the midlife woman with wig confidence/education, my grey hair grow out journey, mature skin care and makeup, midlife musings and perimenopause. All versions of a woman are valid and the midlife glow up is about not only accepting ourselves as we age but truly LOVING the skin we're in!

I love the copper color wigs and you look beautiful with copper. If definitely suits your skin tone. I have very cool tone skin so either light blonde or black fits my skin tone. I’ve tried copper and auburn hair on me and it just looks awful and completely washes me out. While my mom is a natural ginger, I can’t pull off copper hair colors at all which is maddening lol. I bought my first wig from wigshe in ash blonde just 4 months ago and it’s had nothing but problems after problems. I’m OCD about taking care of my wigs and even after using high quality products and doing my research caring for this wig.. it’s still falling apart. I wanted a HH wig because synthetic wigs are costly and only last a few months but this HH wig isn’t going to last much longer unfortunately. If you have any recommendations on any other wig brands, please let me know! 😊

@@scarlettglowsup I did get one but the wig has so much red in it and maybe the company that yours is from would be a good company for me to try to see if I could get the color yours is. The one you are wearing seems to have more blonde. It is beautiful.
@@Madeline8887 These are synthetics made by Ellen Wille so wherever you buy it it’s the same wig but sometimes there are variations

Put darker color (go darker) above your hood to create illusion there is no hood.... but really lifting your eyelid to add shimmer does nothing but enhance the hooded eye. No point for that. Its counterproductive .

@@Tazz431 As a wig reviewer some are sent to me by the brands in exchange for an honest review and I also borrow many of them from friends. I got myself in a lot of trouble financially buying to many my first year. Keep an eye out when I sell because I sell basically new wigs for 50% to 60% off retail. 😘

You look fabulous in that color. Yes, Rosewood Rooted is my favorite color. I have it in Stella (I had an earlier one that is much less dense), Cri (no longer offered in the color) and Link. I wish they would use it in more styles. Have you tried Stella previously? I have bought one in the last year and it was significantly more dense, and seeing this video, I am wondering if they changed the style after the first run because that first one I had was perfect and hd no permatease and was super light. Thank for your reviews. I think we may have some similar choices as far as colors go. (Reds!!)
I agree!! We need this color is more styles! Stella was a miss for me because of the permatease and this particular one didn’t have enough pink.
@@scarlettglowsup Well, then I think I am going to refrain from ordering another. I thought but was a one off with my second one and now I have seen two reviews of it being full. I am not a permatease fan and I agree, the pink is lovely and instead, my second one was all peach and brown, which can be pretty but not what I was looking for. EW fits me so well but it seems the quality has gone down the last couple of years for some reason. Anyway, take care!
You have a beautiful face. Women with good looks usually age better than women who are not blessed with good looks (french guy rambling here), but at the same time, being a good looking woman can be a curse because people (especially men) tend to define you with your good looks. It's tough. I see so many actresses getting weird faces. And now not just actresses. I prefer natural aging over alien aging. I like your attitude. It makes you look even more beautiful.

Agreed. I haven't had anything done it's too expensive and I imagine it's like going down a rabbit warren one procedure after another besides most of it is only temporary. If we turn it on it's head there's so many in cemeterys
