My inner parent has sent my inner child to play in another room while I get done what needs to get done.

For me the resistance is that I do not at all enjoy what I am having to do right now which is completely makeover my house, getting estimates from and interacting with workmen plus the expense and disruption. But when it is all done I will probably be very happy with it and glad that I did it and most of all relieved that it is over.
