Starting up Luis' Indian
Переглядів 142 тис.15 років тому
Manuel "Pancho" Perea completely re-built this 1947 Indian Motorcycle. Here is the footage of us starting it up for the first time in 50 years.
That has to be one of the nicest Indians I have ever see. It is beautiful ! 👍
Now that sounds nice. REALLY nice!
Красота
Impressive indeed! The ("anachronistic") comment below regarding chrome is superfluous//Chris
i like that motorcycle
I do not a kick started
i do no kick started
i like that motorcycle
Naaaeee..!
beautiful bike. i had a 45ci scout in 1970. i knew very little and my tool kit consisted of a screwdriver and a couple of wrenches. it survived my ministrations and rode me through miles of north carolina mountains. sadly, it broke down in western nc, and was stolen from the gas station where i left it for two days. the thieves probably thought it was a harley chopper; it was not nearly as well-maintained as your beautiful machine.
Ride or wash... or maybe ultra detail... nice
That is one beautiful machine,,,, I have to ask though,,, was that a real Army issue? Not that it matters,,,, because it's Absolutely Gorgeous?..? love it bro..
beauty
Wow!
A US Army Dress Parade Indian 74 - Imagine Soldiers in Dress Uniform with Chrome Helmets, White Gauntlet gloves, Whites Spats, Nickel plated sidearms, leading a presidential motorcade, or a victory parade, or funeral of a high ranking officer or politician riding motorcycles like this.
Nope,
What a beauty i love classic bikes
Evel Knievel wooda jumped it over the pool.
Una moto leggendaria...spettacolare
Boy, sure fucked up a nice bike.
Loose the OD....
Military bike with chrome thats lame nice bike doh
Cool video and you got a Thumbs Up.
Beautiful machine after all this time I hope it is still in your possession
Idk, if I had a ww2 bike I'd ride it like it's ww2
You can't Chrome heads and cylinder on a flathead without making it overheat.
But u can polish aluminum and make it look like chrome though
Gorgeous piece of kit. Very well loved. Bit like my bike. Washed polished and not riden much.
Beautiful show bike. Pride in ownership👌👍
beautiful bike
If it don`t run chrome it.
Absolute beauty. Love the theme!
Won't be robbing any banks on that bike
“Sitting on chrome”
👍👍👍
...well....back in 1977 I bought a 'chopped out' Harley Knucklehead, 1946FL......It had a girder front fork....for years I wondered exactly where that front fork came from....now I KNOW....thanks....! a very nice and clean job you did here, And a big Thumbs up!
purists will cry about the chrome and gloss paint but I think she deserved some pretty after the was Think of it as the White lucky strike pack
Beautifull bike!! Well done!!!
These Military Indian bikes were tough & reliable , I had one years ago just for going to work, about 30 miles a day, horribly slow but it only let me down once, it was the pinion gear that turned the oil pump & distributer, they were a factory hybrid. the frame was changed to give them better ground clearance, the engine was sport scout bottom with pony scout (500) top, it was flat out at 55 as long as you had the wind behind you......
Hey man, I get the 'To each his own' thing, but just know that whenever you go anywhere where there are old timers or riders who "get it," they are going to look at that bike and shake their heads.
Luis - It looks like the cylinders and some other odd bits are plated. Can you mention if chrome or otherwise and elaborate what other things were done to the motor to shine so well, i.e., are the heads and cases just polished? I know this isn't as it was during the service years (original restoration) but can understand for the longevity of it, not a bad choice.
Beautiful bike. Love the color...dont care for all the chrome...
Dayum! I thot my twincam had to have a fast idle...this thing is wearing itself out just warming up! All said, it's a nice piece...daily driver...not.
...I think a lot of that noise is just 'mechanical', so it sounds fast....and it does have nice quiet exhausts....These were 4 cam engines, like sportsters, so there are a lot of things going around in there....!
You would have to be out of your mind to bastardize this bike with chrome, any chrome. This guy has got to have a screw loose. Like Leno say's...welcome to the more money than brains club, Luis'.
Ugh. Too much chrome.
very nice indeed its like a work of art as well
Красивый байк! Очень стильный! Владелец - молодец, хорошо следит за ним!
yeah i quit kickn em push it six foot ur n wind i ride mine
Tired of seeing rich assholes pretending to be bikers.
Beautiful job, my avatar is a 1942 wla, but it was chromed out when I got it, so I just rebuilt it and put Harley decals. His 741 is very nice, but I would have used Indian decals. It is no longer in military trim. I would like to know the cost of this 15 hp motorcycle, I'm sure its up there.
looks like ex army model 741 to me
As entertaining as watching grass grow....wow
No doubt I was wondering when this cat was going to do something. Lol
Too many throttles.
