The glorious views of Golden Cap on the Jurrasic Coast
The Jurassic coast is a beautiful piece of coastline in the UK and home to the glorious Golden Cap, and its stunning views of Charmouth, Lyme Regis, and Seaton.
This loop started in Langdon forest, headed to the National Trust stop at Stonebarrow (great carrot cake!) and looped back via the South West Coastal Path to finish on Golden Cap itself.

Heavenly sunlit views from Skirrid Fawr

I took a mid-week summer's evening stroll up Skirrid Fawr, my first visit there. As a long time fan of Sugar Loaf, it was great seeing the Black Mountains and Usk Valley from a different angle for once. An easier, shorter walk to what I'm used to but no less rewarding at the top. The stunning Pen y Fan horseshoe ridge

A wonderful day out doing the Pen y Fan horseshoe ridge, with glorious sights across Bannau Brecheiniog and the Black Mountains. The loop started from Nant Cwm Llwch, up and around Llyn Cym Llwch and up to the Corn Du ridge. From there the hike went down the Western ridge, down the Upper Neuadd reservoir, then took the Roman road back towards the main summit. We acsended Cribyn and looked back ...

I took an evening out last week to have a wonder up Cheddar Gorge, instead of being on top of it for a change. The twists, turns, banks, crags & faces all created from the Ice Age are a sight to behold and always worth a visit if you're nearby. A look at the beautiful Elan Valley in mid Wales. Home to stunning landscapes and the striking Victorian era dams. An early summer evening loop over Sugar Loaf hill which overlooks the Usk valley. Sugar Loaf which stands over Abergavenny, is at the foot of the Black Mountains, with great views of Skirrid Fawr, The Tumble and over towards Hereford. Looks like a primitive goat in the last shot. Same breed has been there likely as long as it's people. Heritage livestock rocks
