I'm always looking for new clean and healthy protein bars. Found these from doing research and figured I'd give them a try.

I got a Berkey water filter for Christmas and wanted to see how good it was versus my 0 water filter versus tap water versus water out of the fridge. @ProjectFarm thanks for recommending Zero Water.

How old is your fridge filter?
Don’t worry about these Berkey fanboys. They are just trying to justify buying into the hype. There’s a reason that “Berkey” and “bullshit” both start with a “b” and have the same number of syllables.
YOu are testing for the TDS, but that says nothing about the filtration ability. you are doing this very wrong because the Berky does not remove the mineral from the water, whereas the zerowater does. But the Berky removes bacterias and petroleum from the water, whereas the Zerowater does not. All your TDS meter is saying is that there are more calcium and dissolved minerals in the water, which we actually want because it is unhealthy to drink demineralized water. One of the reasons I was looking at the Berky vs the Zerowater, it's mainly because the Zerowater removes the good minerals, which you need to add back in order to drink healthy water. Drinking too much demineralized water can lead to water poisoning, especially when someone has been sweating a lot. Also, if I was to drink water from a swamp, I would trust the Berky to make it safe. Not sure I would trust the Zerowater to do that. Since I live in Longueuil, Québec, I want something that can remove petroleum, because the city has the habit of dropping diesel fuel into our drinking water and it tastes awful. They say we should drink 2 liters of water each day, but drinking 2 liters of demineralized water each day should not be very healthy...

You do know you get maybe 1% minerals from water...
If my water was that clean to start with, I wouldn't spend the money to filter it. You have some of the cleanest tap water in the US. Ours in Sheboygan Wisconsin reads around 230 and it reads near 400 in Madison about two hours south of here.
It’s 42 where I live but it’s still worth filtering. Every little bit counts but I don’t harp on it because there are elements in the non zero water that are beneficial, just don’t totally trust the government.
Agree with falcon 07. This is not an adequate way to conduct a test due to the nature of the Berkey filtering, and then replacing with good minerals. They read same as bad medals, and other things using the TDS tester.
That tester only tests for particulates not contaminants. Berkey removes harmful contaminants and leaves beneficial minerals.
You cant remove bad but not good. Impossible. You have to remove all and then remineralise. Im guessing this is what it does.
If it does allow ionic minerals that your body needs to pass through. That also means some contaminants will also pass through.
Dont make excuses for the junk berkey. Zerowater is the best
You’re not supposed to test drinking water with a TDS meter. TDS cannot distinguish between bacteria and calcium. Berkey doesn’t filter minerals. Just viruses and bacteria. Your test is flawed
