Telc seems exam were I can see candidate have benift of predictability and that's most important while writing any exam, since one knows what kind of topics question they will face, it is more easy to prepare.
Dear Nitin, yes I definitely agree on that! Thank you for your comment!
in India TELc is more expensive
Thank you for your valuable input!
Hi Anna Thank you very much for this informative video! Could we also give Telc exam online digitally? From home or at an exam centre?
Hello and thank you! :) This is a great question. I believe there are some telc exams in a digital format, but you still need to go to an official test center! They have secure setups for the computer-based test, and sometimes even the speaking part can be done over video. Just check with local telc centers since availability can vary by location and language level. It is super convenient though!
Please, Anna, thanks so much for your sound, systematic, and insightful presentation. Great job. 1. Please, how can I register and write the Telc A1 exam - I'm in Ghana. 2. Between Goethe and Telc certificates for A1, A2, which one is more acceptable to German public universities? Kfrimpong
I do not know about how you can register for telc in ghana, but i can say that Goethe and TELC both are recognized in german public universities. If still in doubt you can ask your selected university for goethe/telc preference. In my case both goethe and telc were valid
Thanks for the great feedback! Regarding your questions: 1. Telc exams are usually offered through licensed testing centers. Unfortunately, Telc does not have a vast network of exam centers in every country. You will need to search for Telc exam centers near you or in neighboring countries. Here is the link: www.telc.net/en/language-examinations/find-a-telc-examination-centre/ 2. For higher education, the Goethe-Zertifikat at B2 or higher is usually required. Hope that helps! :)
Hallo! Is there any difference for A2 examination in talc or goethe ?or the difference start from b1?
Thank you for messaging! If you're deciding between the Telc A2 and Goethe A2 exams, Telc is often seen as slightly easier. It focuses more on practical, everyday communication rather than the more academic, structured approach of the Goethe exam. However, the two exams are very similar in format and content, so the difference isn't huge for A2-German.
How does tough test look like?
Hello, I have written two articles on how the telc & goethe test look like. You can find the article on the telc test here: german-academy-zurich.ch/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-telc-test/ You can find the article on the Goethe test here: german-academy-zurich.ch/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-goethe-exam/ Kind regards, Anna
Do u have a telc mock test? Im on my Deutsch lernen
Hello, you can find the telc mock exam for A1 German on this official telc website: www.telc.net/en/language-examinations/certificate-exams/german/start-german1-telc-german-a1/ . Just scroll down and you will see the download button. Kind regards, Anna
Hello mam. I want to know the passing criteria for telc
Hello, Most TELC exams consist of two main parts: Written exam: This includes tasks like reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and written production. Oral exam: This usually involves speaking tasks with an examiner. Common Passing Score While specific requirements can vary, a common passing score for many TELC exams is 60% in both the written and oral parts.
Is there any difference for A2 exam in goethe or talc? Or the difference starts from b1?
And what's the difference?
Hello Jorge In German we must use the accusative with certain verbs for example "haben" - to have. Therefore, I must say "Ich habe den alten Laptop". - I have the old Laptop. I can use the nominative with this phrase: "Schau mal, ein alter Laptop!" - "Look, an old laptop!". Hope that helps as clarification :) Kind regards, Anna

Hello, I'm trying to learn german, My doubt is can i attempt the b2 level test without attending the A1,A2,B1...??
yea brother you can go straightly in goethe
Hello, no I don`t recommend to attempt the B2 without having done A1 - B1. You should start from the beginning. This will make learning German a lot easier. We have an online A1 & A2 German course if you are interested :)

Thank you for the video. How about TestDAF?
Thank you for your message. Here are the most important infos on the TestDAF: The TestDaF is a standardized German language proficiency test designed to assess the ability of effective communication in an academic setting. The TestDaF is divided into four sections: Listening comprehension (30 minutes): Assesses the ability to understand spoken German at a university level. Reading comprehension (60 minutes): Evaluates the ability to read and comprehend various academic texts, including news articles, essays, and scientific papers. Writing (60 minutes): Measures the ability to write clear, well-structured texts on academic topics. Speaking (20 minutes): Assesses the ability to communicate effectively in spoken German in an academic context.

Guten abend!
"Guten Abend" needs to be spelled with a capital A, as "Abend" is a noun and all nouns are written with a capital first letter in German! :)
