We had a great time watching all those beautiful cars race, and the so very talented drivers. Thanks to all the racers, we come down every year from Gaffney, SC to watch the races. Our first races at Road Atlanta was the SCCA Run offs in 1971, we just purchased a new TR6 and spent many hours at the Group 44 race headquarters in Virginia. We lived in Arlington, VA. Bob, head of the Group 44 team got us race tickers. Fun to watch Group 44 Quaker State racing team and Bob Sharp (Datsun) teams compete, Thanks for the fun, great video, makes you appreciate the talent that you all have.

Man, a great track car if you can build the motor so that cylinder #2 rod bearing doesn’t get starved of oil and spin.

Rolls did 1 million miles testing that GM 4 speed, before modifying it and using it in the Continental R, and then other models.

Nice driving. I think you have some extra time you could save through Bishops with a shift to 4th. With R7s, I'd guess you could be rolling 120mph plus through there.
