My eyes are watering, this is the same song my mother sang (God rest her Soul) when everyone left for any celebration we had. And I’m from East Tennessee. I never knew what it ment. We lived an absolute simple life. But I’ll always remember the parting glass she’d sing as she put up the dishes.
One of the best collections of talent, that will ever be. The accolades of Stevie Barr, Josh Pickett...and Amber Collins voice..one of the most beautiful, and most pure voices you'll ever hear.. just wonderful

My favorite CHRISTmas song and by far my favorite. I know there is one version on You Tube where is is singing at an outdoor concert and someone requested this song and he said that no matter where he sings and whatever the time of year someone always requests this song.

I broke into tears at the end I've had three golden retrievers that were just like Gracie and it killed me when they had to go my heart is still broken. I want to get another one but I will have to relive the pain all over again when they get old and die I just can't take it anymore. I love them so much.

I loved living there with my mnt wife . We lived in Windy Town until we got our own place in Hawks Town. I used to spend a lot of time in Eagle Bottom too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , Bass Tate was his name , making country and mountain music was his call to fame. The fiddle player really liked his music , he`d play it both night and day , and when he`d start a fix`n to leave , the people would ask him to stay. Please Mr Fiddle Player , won`t you play one more? Won`t you please step back inside? Won`t you shut the door? Please Mr Fiddle Player , won`t you pretty please? So the fiddle player would sit back down and put them at their ease. And then there was music , music all the long , long while , the fiddle player was something else , the man really had some style. And there was dancing , dancing all across the floor , and when the fiddle player would stop , they`d all ask for more. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , he`s not with us now , cause he`s in the sky above , taking one last bow. But he`s looking down on us , wishing us all well. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player was really something swell. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , he`s not with us today , because the Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , "Bass Tate" has passed away.
