Thank you Sir.
wtf is this shit
thanks! learning this in my lessons and this is magic.
Mr. V :D!
The dynamics are great!
I'm singing this in choir
I sang this for All County Chorus
Very passionate performance. Great job!!
I'm singing this in choruss!
Belíssimo!!!!! Bravo!!!!
I wish I lived in Canada! I live in boring old Pennsylvania!!!!
I thought the last cadence was a bit rushed, but overall well done and great enthusiasm!
Lol im singing this in choir haha where learning it right now we only know part of it
i am singing this in choir and it sounds allot diffrent and we are younger in 7th and 8th grade and the words aren't the same.
Same
my choir class is singing this song...its a women's ensemble...we have around fifth teen people
someone shoot the the person pissing around with the font, please
someone knows how to change the font..theres clever you are.
i have met dan he is amazing. he is part of the taconic opera company
Mr Van Schenkhof...you have a beautiful voice...............may I suggest you make a series of "tubes" in your own right, in less formal surroundings, rather than in a "teaching Role".....I look forward to hearing them.
There is no excuse for the break at 1:10, and some of the pitching was questionable. But the tone was good. Promising, I'd say.
This is a high school choir? That's amazing.
@ganekelioque Must not be very good tenors then. All the tenors I know don't throw it back into their throats because they know how to sing.
@PinkProductions2009 its called blending, and when the tenors are singin rather high notes at pianisimo they have to throw it into their throats, and to make it not sound like choked falsettos
nice job
erm...who the fuck mind screwed the lyrics to this song? its all wrong!
The intonation, timing and interpretation of the singer is no different from many others performing this piece. Altogether, it is an excellent rendition with appropriate video. Well Done.
Oh my...what a wonderful performance of this incredible song by Schumann. I sure do wish I could sing like THAT!!!! How lucky your students are to have such a wonderful model. You really do wonderful work!
This has always been one of my favorites! I always envision a smaller choir performing this thinking it would sound to heavy with such a large group! Well....I may have to reconsider after hearing this!! Excellent performance. I must say as well....it is so wonderful to hear the enthusiasm with which the choir performs- you really can feel it. Wonderful job!
I love it!!! Incredible mens' voices! The rhythmic pulse is nicely maintained throughout while keeping of clarity of each vocal line intact- not so easy to do!! It could easily have become mush and it didn't. Great job!!
I just watched this for the first time V...thanks for my close up at 1:33
"We like sheep!" That's an impressive performance for a high-school chorus, especially the adagio conclusion. Kudos to the chorus director.
I am the grandniece of Miguel Sandoval
Im just plain better.
these ornamentations are not authentically baroque and the tenor is sloppily singing through this, no attention to bar lines and musicality nice voice though...
Don't really like this group singing it at all. The sound is really bad. They sing from the back of their throats.
too slow
Mr. Van Schenkhof has a fantastic voice!
Quelle belle voix ce baryton.... Du cristal et très émouvante.... Bravo!
Magnifique! La voix du baryton est de cristal, émouvante!
V. nice lyrical voice
WOW a that baritone is GOOD is this a art school?
Muito trenulo ainda. O vibratto está muito atenuado
@mhschoir55 A high school student could do worse things with their time - Bravo, excellently put!!! ClassicalGuy1 - let's see what you can do. Put up or.... you know
Amazing!
Bravo, A.J. The first two phrases were exceptionally sublime - I couldn't believe it was you at first. Great phrasing. So much polish in so many places. It's been great hearing your progress this year. This is just the beginning! Congratulations.
Beautiful! And the pictures set off the music beautifully, too.
Absolutely wonderful! Old Man River spans the bass and baritone ranges, making it one of the most difficult songs for either a true bass or a true baritone to sing. This was a great job and I totally admire both Jack Meyer and the rest of the Kins Men....
nice voice dudeee keep working hard and see you at the met someday ^.^
Listening to You Yube recordings to try to improve my own efforts at this piece. I'm both tremendously impressed, and depressed (!), by this young man. He's far too good for a teenage (?) student, and I haven't a hope of getting anywhere near him in talent. Good luck to him and the choir.
