lose the music-but great vid
Great video, annoying music 😂
Thanks for the excellent video. Pls delete the so called music.
Hey Justin. Nice job on the video thanks for taking the time to put it together. Im really new to this and didn't understand when you mentioned adding a pill to clear up the proteins at 10:40 of your video. could you please elaborate on that. Ty
Cheers mate, this is just a copy and paste. But it's to helps get a clearer beer at the end of the day. Whirlfloc tablets are a blend of Irish moss and purified carrageenan that help precipitate haze-causing proteins and beta glucans resulting in a clearer finished beer. Use one tablet per 10 gallon batch of beer in the last 5 minutes of the boil.
@@bravoalbum thank you
Awesome video mate thankyou!! Just need a brewzilla set up video lol subbed too
Great video Justin! Very simply explained with some handy hints and no messing about. Love your winch system. What is that device? I notice it is a ratchet type and locks, preventing the grain pot from dropping back into the brew.
The ratcheting pulley is available to buy from kegland.com.au. works a treat. And cheap to
Great video, shows how simple it is to use the Brewzilla. Thank you for using gallons vs liters and ounces vs grams for us American viewers. One suggestion, please lose that very annoying background music
Great video 👍
Justin - what's the reason for raising the temp to 75*C for a Mash Out for 15min...joe
This is an extract from howtobrew.com. What is Mashout? Before the sweet wort is drained from the mash and the grain is rinsed (sparged) of the residual sugars, many brewers perform a mashout. Mashout is the term for raising the temperature of the mash to 170°F prior to lautering. This step stops all of the enzyme action (preserving your fermentable sugar profile) and makes the grainbed and wort more fluid. For most mashes with a ratio of 1.5-2 quarts of water per pound of grain, the mashout is not needed. The grainbed will be loose enough to flow well. For a thicker mash, or a mash composed of more than 25% of wheat or oats, a mashout may be needed to prevent a Set Mash/Stuck Sparge. This is when the grain bed plugs up and no liquid will flow through it. A mashout helps prevent this by making the sugars more fluid; like the difference between warm and cold honey. The mashout step can be done using external heat or by adding hot water according to the multi-rest infusion calculations. (See chapter 16.) A lot of homebrewers tend to skip the mashout step for most mashes with no consequences.
Hi Justin - Today I will be starting my first All Grain Brewing with a basic equipment setup and I'm sure I will produce a reasonable Pint of Beer hopefully without the Home Brew taste I thank you for your no gimmick visual presentation which has now thankfully shown me the way foreword to an all-in-one system that I like - I Want One - gday ...joe
Good video, thanks 👍Do you use the second fine mesh under the grain bed? I have seen some youtubers saying they leave it out.. also have you had any issues with a stuck pump by adding hop pellets straight into the wort? cheers 🍻
No I very rarely use the fine mesh. And as for a stuck pump I haven't had a problem, I did have an issue when I first got it as the pump inlet pipe was twisted.
Hi there Justin, thanks for the video. Like you i use the Brewzilla 35 and have done for about 5 brews now. I rarely hit my numbers coming in short every time. Can i ask what software you use for setting up a recipe and what are your equipment profile settings within that software. Thanks again mate.
I use Brewfather and the standard 35L profile loaded in the app. I did adjust the efficiency down to 70 percent
I'm considering this system. Thanks for the tour. Cheers!
This looked good but i couldn't handle the background music that sounded like it was coming through it crappy radio and why do you need dance music constantly doing breaks while doing a thing about brewing.
I agree
Cheers friend we just subscribed after finding your video . We love to home brew beer grow hops make mead and wine on our channel . Stay thirsty and brew good beer .
Im bouts run this setup but with fueling hydraulic cct
