What beamtechs would I need for this sled?
Would you say it has plenty of power? Debating on this or a 600 ETEC but the $2500-$3000 price difference is hard to justify if this thing can do 100 MPH. I mainly ride trails in northern Michigan and rarely will get it to that speed so trail wise I imagine it does fine as I have ridden the 600 and 900 ACE.
For me it does. Gets up to 90 for me on an average day. I don’t think it’ll ever see past 100, but I’m not looking to die via tree so that’s fine.
For all of you saying your letting off. In a few of the clips the 900 r came bye him like he was tied to a stump. How much long did you want him to hold it wide open! Till it blows maybe?

God a new 1000 etec twin would blow the doors clean off these new turbos. And be lighter . Snappier. More fun in the trails. What a shame…

my 2022 renegade 600r is off about 10 mph at full out. I gps checked it.
10% is the norm and has been for years, Every Doo 800/850 i have had will max recall at 107-111 and none will do a real 100 mph (146 and 137 1.75s). My Poo Pro S i had last year wasn't much different maybe 7% off.
She goes like the wind.
Funny watching the speedo being over 15mph off. When the doo boys say their sled is running 110 it’s much closer to 90.

Went from a ‘19 xrs 850 renegade to a ‘21 xrs 900t...cannot wait to order another 850 xrs again personally. Even tuned @215hp its still the most boring trail sled I’ve ever owned...if you just wanna cruise on wide open trails and race on the lakes then sure, but if you truly ride aggressively then the turbo is a whale. The lurchy/laggy throttle is just horrendous. Had to spend an extra $5000 and still hate it compared to a 2-stroke
The 2022 900r throttle is a game changer. Came off a 2020 850 XRS Gade. 2022 900r XRS is the Bomb.
@@kaddman69 tried one and the only thing better is the throttle lever itself...hate this motor for aggressive riding...one of the biggest this I miss is the 2” forward steering post as well, these bars are just way to crowded on the rider where I need to sit

I don't believe you have owned a 900T
Well if the turbo does not have 12 plus hours on the engine then it’s not running at full power I have a Renegade X. Took 725 km or 450 miles approx to get it out of break in mode. Goes to 8000 now pulls super hard settles back to 7750 rpm.
I've owned 2 turbos. I mix up the speeds during break in. I certainly didn't do repeated full throttle pulls of 15 seconds. 5-10 second occasional blips, yes, after an hour or so.
Interesting way to break them in.
Good vid but if that’s all that 900 R has I’d stay away from a sidewinder.
I think anyone with a full deck of cards would realize that. The 900R is a great 190hp powerplant. It's not a Yamaha superbike engine derivative however.

I did that because of track spin from both of us.It was more even that way.
that's because the guy with the 850 is scared to blow that 2 stroke and already knows he lost. 4 stroke turbo's rule
Omg you don't let off when racing you show where thr 2 stroke shines the the 4 stroke sucks if he can't come around you on the big end it's slow. He 850 was coming back up top. Would've expected more from the 4 stroke for stock

This video is in rangeley on a pond...not enough snow around that area to groom.
There's about 10 inches around there in good areas.

The 600 efi for sure over the 600 ace...top speed of 600 ace was 75-80 and the efi was around 95-100
Hey quick question, when you installed your forward adjustable riser and routed the throttle cable through as per instructions from brp was there any issues removing the cable from the lever? Like did it put it out of adjustment or anything?

The handlebar air deflector "caps" are they the "860201345 race orange" it's hard to tell!? But there is no lava red available that I can find?.. Either way they look goood!
They are the lava red ones...I had to special order them from dealer...thanks
You need to adjust your camera view and not have it facing the ground. Not trying to criticize, just saying so your viewers don't get bored. Nice looking sled.

It wheelies easily because it isn't coupled like rmotion.It handles bumps in my opinion very well.I have no complaints about it.

I have a 2012 mxz and out four different sled's my buddy says my headlights are the brightest.

Nice looking ski! I would like to ask you this: Is it a set of mirror or turn signal lights I see on it, or both ? is it an original part or aftermarket ?
The things on the hanguards are mirrors and they are not stock but you can get them from the factory.
Rode Deboullie about 4 weeks ago, great trail, love the county. Come ride out of Medway or East Millinocket, great riding even here!
We usually ride each year for a trip around bowlin camps...but they arn't open this year.Last year we rode from millinocket to houltin and it was awesome.Hopfully I will do it next year.

Yeah seen well the backcountry sport actually has different front suspension skies and the c motion skid 146 plus bigger 1.6 paddles now the mxz would be more stable faster and should turn better

I have one of these and it’s awesome. Highest speed I got was 140 km and the break in isn’t fully done yet. Smooth ride I think.
i bought a 2021 skidoo expedition 600 efi. it has lots of jam. quiet impressive for 85 hp. mine tops out out at 137km/hr. not bad 85 mph for a 154 track. wasnt quite expecting that at all. so far very impressed with it.

Right now I'm on break in mode but I got 120 miles on a tank.It has great bottom end grunt and can hit mid 90s to 100 mph.
14.3 to 14.9mpg so far depending on conditions. 93mph top speed on speedo.
I like that it has a key now, nice sled
