12/10/24, I just finished squeezing a Marx motor into a Prewar Flyer 420 cast shell, wasn`t easy.

That's something I've never seen!? Having to switch an e unit to go forward n backward. I thought they were transformer controlled? 🤔

Regarding the S gauge layout is that a Junior Bridge suspension bridge? I obtained one for $10 but someone painted it black. I stripped it down and repainted it to the proper steel grey finish. Nice progress. May God's blessings be with you and your family. 😎🐱🚂🚃🚃🚃✝

You might need to change out a section or two of track. Check your center pins for tight connection since loose pins will cause voltage loss. 😎🐱🚂🚃🚃🚃✝ You might want to use postwar transformers or switch to a ZW.

Looks like you need to add some feeders on that rear track

Sounds like the trolley could use some lubrication. On tough sections of track I use scotch bright pads and alcohol. Whenever I obtain track that is really in bad shape I use a wire wheel with a small amount of WD40. I then remove the WD 40 residue and wipe everything down with a clean rag. 😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝

I just said a prayer for your wife's recovery. I purchased a number of Lionel cast illuminated bumpers. I use these for the trolley and the gang car. They screw fast to the track and can take a good hit without moving. Nice job on the trolley line.🐱😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝

Don't over do things, a little at a time, especially with heat. Stay hydrated and don't tax your chest muscles. I enjoy your step by step operation. I've made some minor additions to the Lionel layout. The Marx layout is as complete as it can be. Take care and God bless.😎😾🚂🚃🚃🚃✝

I agree that toy/model trains are a wonderful hobby. I perform a myriad of repairs, mostly my own, and affect repairs for a limited number of people. I don't want the hobby to become a business. Once it becomes a business pressure mounts and the fun is no longer present. One of my long term friends and train advisors recently retired and is liquidating his retail stock. This man is an expert on all types of train repairs, restorations, etc. When I would have an issue I could always call him for advice. I learned much from him. I enjoy your channel and utilize some of your methods. You're a fellow christian and that means a lot. May God continue to bless you with good health and prosperity and for your family as well. Hello G-man, Gary does excellent work (fabrication, repairs, building customized engines/rolling stock, etc.) ---- I watch his channel all of the time, but he may have taken off for the Summer. He captured a few good toy train hauls a couple of months ago. He has taken his customization to a whole new level. I even purchased an engine from him via eBay. I greatly enjoy your videos when you insert Marx motors into other engine shells for running / operating purposes ---- Lionel, Hornby, Kusan, American Flyer, Ives, etc. The Marx motors are bullet proof and can be adapted to other manufacturer's locomotives ---- unfortunately I do not have your expertise or your patience. I also like that you have "Where's Waldo" in the standard gauge box electric. I do not have much modern trains either --- but stick to old tinplate/ postwar and prewar trains from various manufacturers. I learned about Hornby locomotives and Kusan trains from you. Great job on the restoration, it looks great. Can't wait to see it on the layout. Just got a Lionel steam turbine myself to bring back to life. Your videos are a great inspiration for me to pass a great hobby down to my grandson. You should see the look in his eyes when he walks into my hobby room

I'd leave the engine house straight since a curvature might restrict the clearance within the building. I noticed that your upper loop is S gauge. Keep up the good work and the faith. Christ is the source and the cross is the means. I've been busy labeling the train display shelves and making minor improvements on the layout and train room.
