Still not yet car is still down

Nah bro my G still down, I thought it was the built motor but it seems my car have ECU and possibly wiring issues,besides going in limp mode it was doing this thing where one of the headers would heat up super hot glowing red and the other side is fine, and now I have a new used motor in the car and it’s doing the same thing so that’s why am thinking it’s ecu or wiring trying not to giving up been dropping so much to get this thing running but ye once’s I get it sorted I’ll do a video of all the issues and how I got it fix

@ I have some news, I think I might have fixed it earlier. The problem was from my car's body throttle. Both of them on each side were very dirty and after I cleaned them up, they worked just fine like normal before. A dirty body throttle could also be a reason why your car was stalling and losing power.

I hear you man it depends on what you trying to get out the car, my car street car, so my first mod is to lower the car you get looks and performance anyways mans everybody different

So after the limp mode problem another problem came up where one side on the header gets red hot after the cars been on for couple mins, it’s gets so hot it causes a fire in the engine bay and it seems like when we turn the car off then on again,it switches sides, that just start happening the first day I drop the car off at the shop to do the motor swap, so we put in new used engine in and the new engine was doing the exact same thing with one headed heating up so now it has to be the computer and the wiring, so i am saving for a new computer and then I’ll put on some stick intakes and the car should be fine hopefully then I’ll get my built motor back it

Sup fam ye I think it can be your oil cooler, and couple different things,like Blown headgasket, crack engine block but ye am ask my mechanic but I think it’s the (headgasket that’s gone )

@trevano20 how much cost to fix it I did compression test it was no sign of head gasket

@ honest I don’t know how much it depends on what the problem is I’ll take it to a shop and get them to check it and give you a quote

Sup man, ye the problem was the whole time we thought the issue was the built motor but it was the computer the whole time, and we were able to figure that out when we put the other motor in, I just have to buy a new computer then car should be back up and running and just don’t have money right now to buy it, but ye once I get that the car would be back on the road and I’ll probably try and get the built motor back in after

I hear you man. I am familiar with both platforms And for the everyday driving I like the Infiniti it’s more comfortable and more spacious, and the Infiniti is pretty reliable to just have to keep up with maintenance, I really like my SI it’s just not good for what am doing right now

I got them from a friend long time ago now am not sure the specs on offset but they are TSW I believe 9.5 front and 11 rear, and am actually saving up for some new wheels

Ye fam I got you, it depends on your budget ( z1 Motorsport has Tomei extreme $891, and z1 has there own headers they make for around 1k to $1500 I’ll go with anyone of those two, if you want cheaper you can check out concept z ( ISR performance shorty headers $549 ) DC Sport headers around the same price but ye I have the z1 headers with my motordyne exhaust, I honestly don’t think it makes much of a difference with one ☝️ you go with l, I also added resonators with my test pipes so my car is not too loud but ye if you want to know where I shop for parts check out my video on g37 one stop shop it’s the same for the g35

Honestly if its clean I’ll get it that’s not bad, just make sure everything is good with the car and it’s best to buy a stock g37s, I just bought a 2013 g37xs about to reveal on the channel it had about 177km drives really good very clean so if the one your buying is stock, no mods on it and it’s clean, with clean title, no issues with the car, I’ll buy it for that price and get a reader and check if any codes were deleted

Ye man I would get the AWD one there are still top exhausted setups available for the g37x, for example you can get THE ARK GRIP FULL CATBACK EXHAUST, I think is sounds just as good as my motordyne , I had the ARK exhaust before to, but if you really want the rear wheel drive model ill wait until you see a clean one for sale, and the X models don't come in manual I believe so it depends on what you want or what you are using it for

So when you are shifting to second, don’t come off the clutch too fast you have to step off slowly like you are slowing allow the pedal to come up with your foot, so don’t step off, feel the clutch come up with your foot 🦶I don’t know if that’s makes any sense to you but it’s hard to explain let me know if you want me to do a video on how to shift smoothly

I don’t have Cats I have z1 test pipes that’s why I added the resonators to get rid of the rasp that you get with the test pipes, my old setup I had and ark grip full catback exhaust with FI resonated testpipes and it’s sound really good, for resonated testpipes the only one I’ve tried is the FI but am sure if you go with a top brand they should be good, check out my video on where to shop for the G and you should find something ( my current setup is z1 headers z1 testpipes vibrant resonators, motordyne full catback exhaust )
