Restoring my Monte Carlo and tore up the old carpet and I put kilmat on my floor so I’ve got to put carpet in it, I’m gonna use indoor outdoor carpet instead of selling my left ass cheek for a precut molded one, this is a good video good information 👍
It seems to me thinner would be better, I'm about to do this with my 2006 Lincoln navigator it really irritates me cuz there's no replacement carpet for my year navigator so I guess I'm just going to go buy some foam for underneath and some thin carpet and just do it myself
grommets would be different. I marked the carpet then push a hot soldering iron through creating a hole and it cauterizes the hole so the screws dont grab any of it.
Looks good. Cheers!
Thank you! Question. Did you glue carpet or jute to the sound deadner?
Witch b brand u use? Got a 57 ford Wana do this
don't know that there was a brand name. been a while now. simply went with the loop pile listed as most commonly used in stock vehicles. good luck.

I use a soldering iron to cut out holes where mounting bolts and screws go. Good video. Thanks.

Gromets - genius.
Thanks for the tips. Really like the gromet idea. Love the door sills. The small and aggravating details are what really sets it off.
Great video. Thanks for the tips, especially on the 3M Super 77 adhesive. I'll give it a try as other adhesives have not worked very well.
Nice vid. Where did you purchase the carpet?
got it through amazon. listed as "loop same as factory carpet". thanks for like
Good info at the end on the Checker plate side strips, cool look !
