He’s talking to the computer by plugging into that yellow wire coming from the plug on the right side of the battery compartment. You count how many times it blinks but google the codes for the zx6r 03/04. First.

Check your starter ground and all the fuses just to be safe. something similar happened on my old bike that made the starter go out
