Never slam it's an instant die button unless you can get the slam kill in one or two animations and if they get healed through it you don't get anything and you die

The shoot melee shoot combo does feel slow if you do it wrong but if you do it right and fast enough is works and it even cancels his shooting animation but you still shoot

I got 15 hrs on him so far and I think the only thing that needs buffed are his animation speeds. It’s hard to explain but if you play him in higher ranks, you know what I mean.

Ive seen the best hulk player in the game say not to use this because iit bones you when youre jump gets cancelled

I tried toggle leap and it wasn’t for me. It gets confusing when you accidentally lost the jump on a tiny ledge, and it makes you have to double tap space to perform a regular jump. Something I would recommend however is changing jump secondary to scroll down to behop in ult mode, it’s fun.

I mean it's personal preference. I think hold to jump is was more intuitive

I don’t like this setting over the default though. Just took a day to get used to holding space.

also worth noting that Sue‘s guardian shield will also heal her, so if you can’t disengage from battle or use your jump, try placing the shield on one of your close-by and going up to it

How is this different from holding space down?

As someone who's used both keyboard and controller for this game, the controller layout for hulk is super satisfying. Everything is just perfect. Every input is where you'd expect it to be. And left trigger jump is super satisfying and really makes you feel the weight of the launch
