PART2 - Denon DR-M24HX Tape transport not retracting fully - FIXED.
The issue is fixed. The fix is hilarious. I missed it for the longest time. But finally I found a small red plastic flower stuck deep underneath the transport. When removed, the transport could finally go all the way down on STOP.

Dating cassette tapes (BASF, TDK, Maxell)

The production date of cassette tapes from BASF, TDK and Maxell can be found by examining the code printed on or engraved into the top edge of the cassette. For early TDK's, the year can be found on the back of the Jcard / insert. Online documentation on cassette tapes can be found on: agfabasf.com/en/ 45spaces.com vintagecassettes.com

Yes, idler tire was deteriorated (become hard and brittle). Idler is changed, problem is gone.
It was a worn idler tire causing most of the noise.
Yes, replace the Idler Tire.
Thanks, I'm looking into it, but not sure where to find a proper quality tire with the same measurements.
loose Belt, replace the Belt and the Noise is gone.
