Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence
Приєднався 5 тра 2020
While chronic pain cannot be treated, it can be managed. The Centre of Excellence works as a research centre to improve the understanding of Veteran-specific chronic pain and how best to manage it. Our mission is to foster a national network of interdisciplinary pain management centres using research and evidence-based strategies to improve care for Canadian Armed Forces Veterans and their families.
On our UA-cam page, we aim to bring you video-first content produced by the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence.

Smart piece on promoting positivity about the CAF & its members. Beyond just for veterans, the Canadian general media need this training they NEVER ever report anything good abiut serving personnel and it's disgusting
**Not a talk on chronic pain!!!** until a question is asked by an audience member about 48 min in. I'm not sure why this is the title of the presentation, there is nothing new here if you are regularly following psychedelic research
Thank you Tom for inviting me to be on your show!

I came here to learn about psychedelics and chronic pain. Colour me disappointed. Please use accurate descriptors for your videos. Thank you.
Where is the info on psychedelics and chronic pain? Isn’t that the title? This is really only about psychedelic assisted therapy for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. While the chronic pain sufferers certainly experience those symptoms, that isn’t what the title implies. 🤷♂️
I’d appreciate your comment
I bought some psychedelic products from an online supplier and they are affordable and discreetly delivered

There is a difference though between psilocybin and Lexapro he cited in his talk. SSRIs like Lexapro have about a 30% success rate which is comparable to the placebo percentage of effectiveness, while psilocybin has been shown to have as much efficacy as 80%. SSRIs numb or dull your emotions, while psilocybin does the opposite. The side effects of SSRIs vs psilocybin are vastly different…there are many unwanted and potentially uncomfortable side effects of SSRIs, while the negative side effect profile of psilocybin is not even close. A person must be on an SSRI for weeks if not months before they have any reduction or change in symptoms…once again, often accompanied by a slew of negative side effects. Psilocybin has been shown to reduce symptoms after a single dose, even in treatment resistant patients. Of course, many patients will need more than a singular dose of psilocybin, but it also is not something that the patient must take daily for (potentially) the rest of their lives. Symptoms often return after SSRI cessation while this is not the case with psilocybin.
I have chronic pain and fatigue from a spinal cord tumor surgery I had 15 years ago. I am currently micro dosing psilocybin 5 days on and 2 days off. My dosage each time is about .35g and 5mg of lions mane. It's been about 1 month and I feel a huge difference!
Superb❤️. YT ranking services = p̶r̶o̶m̶o̶s̶m̶
