Winter Trail Riding | Deep River Crossing & MUDD
Переглядів 4 тис.11 місяців тому
In this video, we are riding dirt bikes (enduro style) high in the Mountains of California. We are riding both single and double track in the middle of January. We are on one KTM 500 and one Husqvarna 501. We go through some high-speed trails followed by a muddy creek crossing, then a deep river crossing. To finish the trail ride out, we ride out at high speeds with drone shots of us flying ove...
Honda Monkey EXTREME Off Road Test
Переглядів 121 тис.11 місяців тому
In this video, I will show you how capable a Honda Monkey is off-road. We are on a 2023 Honda Monkey here. It doesn't matter that this Monkey is not even listed in the "Dual Sport" category on Honda's website. We are going to push it to the limits! We will do big hill climbs and some 4x4-only mountain roads. Some steep single track and finally some big rocks! Follow my channel for more videos o...
LA's Abandoned Nuclear Escape Tunnels
Переглядів 24 тис.11 місяців тому
Shoemaker Canyon tunnels are about 1 hour outside of LA. In this video, I am going to hike through them and tell you their history. Located right next to the Bridge To Nowhere. Thank you to Julianna from the Azusa Library for helping me find the right information on the history of the tunnels.
The Craziest Hike In America
Переглядів 28711 місяців тому
In this video, we are hiking the craziest hike in the USA. There will be ladders, ropes, and crazy tight spaces. This hike can be found near Salton City, CA. It's known as Painted Canyon with two other hikes attached to it known as Ladder Canyon and Rope Canyon.
Hard Enduro After A MASSIVE FLOOD Destroys Road
Переглядів 73411 місяців тому
In this video, we are doing some hard enduro riding in a canyon where the road has washed out. There will be river crossings, boulder riding, and a few places where we wreck the dirt bikes. This is about a 3-mile enduro ride on a KTM 500 and a Husqvarna 501.
These bikes cost $4500 wow that's a lot I would have expected under $2000 even that seems like a lot.
The monkey is definitely not built for that harsh of riding & terrain. You’re just wrecking it!
Call me when you’ve done it on a Goldwing. 😂
Were you half drunk?
What's the matter with you?
Awesome it got you there alright
What type of drone are you using? Very nice footage of your ride brother! :) Greetings from the Philippines!
Well, at least you were dressed for it to commiserate with the monkey in its travails.….😂😂 Great video, thanks!
Oh hell, now that was some awesome narration! You sound just like the guy in the movie, The Office, and pretty much blowing off work to go out and play. My hero! As a kid I rode the monkey on the single track trails in the hills of PA but nothing this challenging. Most excellent video!!
Why hadn't you purchased knobbie tires by this time? You've already been on roads that proved you needed more traction for them. SNOW MAKES EVERYTHING MORE SLIPPERY! Maxxis M6024 worked great for me and I added carbide studs to them.
You lean your wieght over the front end to put more wieght on the front less wieght on the back & you could fly up that grade. 😁
Shot and edited so well. Happy to be an early sub 🤙
I would love to see a motocross with nothing but monkeys... and the riders have to be at least 5'6" and 140 lbs minimum.
What is the purpose of such a video? Motorcycle completely not for this terrain, designed for urban riding and short stretches outside. It's Better to take a forklift, it will be more interesting :)
We've taken our Monkeys and Groms through Hells Revenge and all over Moab, the Washington BDR, and Idaho BDR. The best upgrades we've made by far were knobby tires, 1 tooth down on the countershaft sprocket, and upgraded front and rear suspension. Everything else is optional, but I'd consider those worth every single penny. Exhaust saves a ton of weight, but you were dead on about the "skid plate", so I'd still only do a slip on vs just beating on a fancy exhaust header. Love the video! Keep it up! It's the best motorcycle I've ever owned and the only one that never gets replaced.
Power assisted hiking.
rode my dirt bike up there many times in the 60ties
It hurts rolling one, messed up hit the brake at 40
hahah it was 9 funny and fun minutes. i must get this monkey !
How many were supposed to escape and where were they escaping to?
so awesome!!
DUDE STREET TIRES REALLY
that lil thing needs regearing; my 65cc moped goth through half of same obstacle with maybe 4 or 5 bhp (but to be fair it has 18" wheels and working suspension ;) ) . that aside, this "monkey" is actually quite good for "adventure" (albeit short one) riding, and with few mods (not sure about legality, but 212 daytona engine has around 30ish bhp on crank ;) ) and it would be an awesome trail/street mini bike :)
Wow that must been a heck of a work out. The things we all have done we regret doing lol. But, least you had it on video and can look back and laugh. Thanks for sharing and your got me on the frostbite at first. Glad to see was joke. But, now I wonder how well it would do with tires meant for snow and mud.
Where is Monkey? No more videos?
Um you dont have a skid plate :P
For 5000 you can get a pretty sweet enduro...
I can't understand how so many riders don't wear gloves. If I have a choice of only a helmet or gloves I will always take gloves/
dude it would be sick to see what that lil adv 160 scoot can do in stuff like this
This is what motorcycling is about...having fun! You do not need 200hp to have fun. I love it!
I’m definitely buying a monkey bike
Awesome testing I laughed
this honda is indistractable
awesome video, reminds me of when i was a kid riding around on a mini trail z50. this looks like socal, near the cajon pass.
Looks a bit underpowered still. It looks like maybe around 12 hp would be a nice fit for the chassis. I love the design, look and size of these.
Completely awesome, addictive, ecstatic. Greetings from Spain!!!
Fully impressive!!! More vídeos please!!! Greetings from Spain!!!
It's the bridge to nowhere in the San Gabriel mountains. Every dumbass new UA-cam uses this as clickbait. Just an unfinished road. Nothing to do a nuclear escape tunnel
Remind me to never buy a used Monkey.
what a mission !
Well, that’s CLICKBAIT for you. But it’s still interesting.
Been up there many times. Fished, camped, panned for gold and just hike around, like through those tunnels.
You're full of crap! Think about it, it makes no sense. This scenario can only of been made up by someone who doesn't know life without television, cellphones and the internet. I grew up in the area, and that story didn't exist till the 2000s
what are you saying?? i was up there in the 60ties a bunch of times
cool
Somehow stumbled upon this channel. Smashing through all the videos now. So good! Subscribed.
There was a tunnel in Eaton Canyon, it was small though. You had to crouch down. You would see a dot of light at the end, but when you got there it was really pretty area. Before you got there you had to climb A rickety ladder up a cliff. Someone fell and they took the ladder down. I think they blocked that tunnel too.
eaton canyon had a fence across it for many years-so many people kept tearing it down they finally gave up fixing it--got cited by police in 1970 for being past the fence--there was probably 50 people back there
@@mtsky-tc6uw was the ladder up the cliff still there?
@@STOPBeingMeanPlease yes==eaton canyon was,is a watershed for pasadena--i think they share with surrounding area--they did not want people polluting their water supply even though they let it seep in the ground below eaton canyon and pump it out as needed--the ladder was for water employees but guessing used almost never--people fall off the cliffs all the time in eaton canyon--sierra madre search /rescue pulled my friend and i in the early 60ties when we go stuck on cliff in sierra madre canyon
@mtsky-tc6uw I saw in the paper one time that a kid fell. Oddly, I knew the hikers who found him, they were in the picture. I think he lived. It was a scary climb.
Stage 3 😂
These wouldn’t provide any protection from a nuclear explosion, probably were just regular tunnels connecting roads
Drunk dummy
I know how flat and inconspicuous obstacles seem in the video. You have perfectly mastered your driving technique and you made a great movie.
