Demo of Visual Pinball and VPinMAME showing what hobbyists have accomplished recreating "real world" pinball machines from Bally Williams, Stern. Data East ect.
Way to much junk all over the playfield.... gimme,Fireball,Triple Action they are classic real world tables or 1960's.. Cross-Town any day ! ✌😎 These new tables have a ton of free balls, shoot again and multi-ball madness coming out of my azz !
Visual pinball used to be the best and for free its very good. However Pinball Arcade looks and plays better. Its also a lot less work. Does cost more of course. Also my computers are on windows 10 and they dont like Visual pinball. I get a ton of script errors on tables.
Visual Pinball is a great program, I mean what more can you want? Pinball for the fans by the fans. I like it because I can have as many pinball machines as I want, a good many accurate replicas of real machines, or I can build my own, all without having to have a huge building to store them all in. It's a real pleasure to find emulations of tables I've played in real life that aren't around anymore where I live, a real favorite of mine is The Addams Family. Used to blow a lot of quarters playing it at the local pizza parlor, then have my pizza get cold waiting on me since I racked up a lot of free games. There were others, Jurassic Park, the X Files, Guns N Roses, Pirates of the Carribean, but none were quite as much fun as Addams Family.
Yeah, it would, but I haven't got the spare cash lying around to buy and keep a real pinball machine maintained. One day I might, but for the moment I'm happy with Visual Pinball, lets me try out a lot of machines and make up a wish list of ones I'd like to buy in real life.
For anyone wondering: 1: Lord of the Rings (Stern) 2: Medieval Madness (Williams) 3: Twilight Zone (Bally) 4: Tales from the Crypt (Data East) 5: Funhouse (Williams) 6: Taxi (Williams) 7: The Getaway: High Speed II (Williams) 8: Attack from Mars (Bally) 9: Theatre of Magic (Bally) 10: Tales of the Arabian Nights (Williams) 11: Black Knight (Williams) 12: KISS (Bally) 13: Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure (Williams) 14: Fish Tales (Williams) 15: The Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern) 16: The Shadow (Bally) 17: The Addams Family (Bally) 18: The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends (Data East) 19: Back to the Future (Data East) 20: Bad Cats (Williams) 21: Big Bang Bar (Capcom) 22: Bram Stoker's Dracula (Williams) 23: Cactus Canyon (Bally) 24: Cirqus Voltaire (Bally) 25: Creature from the Black Lagoon (Bally) 26: Nascar (Stern) 27: Diner (Williams) 28: Earthshaker (Williams) 29: Elvira and the Party Monsters (Bally) 30: Jurassic Park (Data East) 31: Elvis (Stern) 32: Guns n' Roses (Data East) 33: Monopoly (Stern) 34: Ripley's Believe It Or Not (Stern) 35: Monster Bash (Williams) 36: Junk Yard (Williams) 37: No Fear: Dangerous Sports (Williams) 38: South Park (Sega) 39: Scared Stiff (Williams) 40: Indianapolis 500 (Bally) 41: Star Trek: The Next Generation (Williams) 42: Star Wars (Data East) 43: World Cup Soccer (Bally) 44: The Sopranos (Stern) 45: Johnny Mnemonic (Williams) 46: White Water (Williams) 47: Whirlwind (Williams) 48: The Flintstones (Williams) 49: Red and Ted's Road Show (Williams)

Since someone asked, the tables, in order, are: 1. Lord of the Rings 2. Medieval Madness 3. Twilight Zone 4. Tales from the Crypt 5. Funhouse 6. Taxi 7. Getaway: High Speed II 8. Attack from Mars 9. Theatre of Magic 10. Tales of the Arabian Nights 11. Black Knight 12. Kiss 13. Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure 14. Fish Tales 15. The Simpsons Pinball Party 16. The Shadow 17. The Addams Family 18. Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends 19. Back to the Future 20. Bad Cats
Future Pinball is far easier to install and use.. Visual Pinball is an installation nightmare - I was a sw & db engineer for 26 yrs and VP took me two days to debug.. FP has the most classic tables reproduced, but VP has Red & Ted's Roadshow and Getaway II, both terrific and exciting "road" pinball games.. since they are free, it's nice to donate something to all the developers, I've been doing that.. as a former developer I know very few do, so make yourself count
Nice recreations. The ringmaster in Circus Voltaire has a bit of a stiff neck, but that's probably due to engine-restrictions. There's only so much visual pinball will alow you to do. I love Pinball Arcade on my Android tablet, and it's stuff like VisualPinball and FuturePinball that is perhaps preventing P.A. from getting a green light on Steam. Pitty, because I don't think 5 bucks is much to ask for a really good pinball table recreation.
Can you like just Zip your entire PinMame folder and offer it for download, because I can't get a single game to play. Install it, install a rom, do I need table files or something. Is there one sample included pinball table that works? Everything I try says roms are missing, and I go and make a folder in the roms folder for that table and put the roms for that table in there, but all I see is a huge red scoreboard come up.

Where is pinbot
It's amazing to see how much VP has improved in the last 10 years. Thanks for the video.
Im not a fan of any of the stern tables. i find them really poorly designed.
Love visual pinball have all these and more on my cab. Check it out on my channel!

pinball arcade lacks the physics feeling on the weight of the ball. Especially now with VPX pinball, pinball arcade can't hold a candle.
how can you play these tables and download the software

+Shipwright1918 Owning the real deal would be preferred though.

The balls and flippers still on par for the realism of the playfield etc. But very cool and beats having 50 tables in your place.
Just get your self an actual Pinball machine. They are cheaper than this thing and do have an way better quality.
yeah right lol
+Lee S Try Craigslist, lots of pinballs there.
Not anymore lol the resurgence of pinball has driven the costs to astronomical levels.

the clarity on my world cup soccer isn't as good...what settings do i need to change to see that spinning soccer ball better?
AL BUNDY Beats me, I've never played it myself.
I might have been wrong about Scared Stiff; I think it's Bally, not Williams, but at the time they were basically the same company anyway.
officiallly scared stiff is a Bally/williams ( its came out under the bally brand name)
Bless you for doing this!! Thank you!
JP and pacdude always have great sound and michanics to go along with the tables.

I now have 6 machines Atlantis, Laser cue, Centaur, No fear, Elvira and the party monsters, Firepower 2 and im in the process of downloading Gorgar
Me too i just installed this and downloaded several machines
I love pinball so much.
Small Soldiers would also be cool
Such a shame that a lot of tables seem to have the wrong aspect ratio. Also, installing VP is quite complicated.
They also need to make one based off of Stephen King's IT
where this HOOK pinball ????? THE BEST OF PINBALLS !!!!!!
@depauleable Where at? must be fan made...
@Tiamat583 There's one xD
they're actually coming out with ways on VP where you can play redemption games as well.
wow, thats amazing!
Some dodgy movie franchises in there Wish Pinballl would make another comeback
Nice!!

Works very well, but I get a lot of lag during multiball. Any way to fix this? I've tried setting it to the lowest resolution. Any help would be good.
These ppl did a great job indeed. I didn't see Black Knight 2000 though but I know they have the table. It's my fav.
is it possible to link to some of the downloads? these sem like good versions
TZ is Groni's Version
whose version of twilight zone was that?
it's true, but not this big, i'm still missing a few tables.
pacdude's version of TAF is win!
